<p>An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT Therapist, with a background working in child and adolescent services to join our Peterborough Mental Health Support Teams.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will work closely across the 5 Peterborough MHST's, to ensure that the MHST is a success. They will join a dynamic service in a creative environment where evidence-based interventions, new ideas, ways of working and supporting children and young people are actively encouraged.</p>
<p>This is a unique opportunity to engaging in important clinical work within schools and colleges at an early intervention level across Peterborough.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role will support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people across Peterborough, within an early intervention service. The successful applicant will provide psychological assessments and interventions to children, young people and their families, consultation with education establishments, training internally to the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) within the Emotional Health Wellbeing Service (EHWS) and externally to education staff, and staff from the wider professional network.</p>
<p>This work will be in accordance with clinical governance processes and professional standards.</p>

<p>With the launch of two further Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in Peterborough and East Cambridgeshire in line with the NHS Long Term Plan, we are looking to recruit two more Senior Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>

Provide case management and clinical supervision to EMHPs and Trainee EMHPs under the direction of the Senior Clinicians and both Clinical Leads</p> <p>Offer evidence-based practice in guided self-help, CBT, child and adolescent mental health practice and Whole School Approaches to mental health</p> <p>Clinically develop the provision of group work for children/young people and training for teaching staff, to include training and mentoring EMHP colleagues in order to improve the quality of the group work and training that we deliver</p> <p>They will join a dynamic mental health team in a creative environment where evidence-based interventions, new ideas, ways of working and supporting children and young people are actively encouraged.</p> <p>Furthermore, during the first year in post, the post holders will be attending the University of East Anglia's Supervisor course (likely to be a mixture of online and in person delivery).</p>
