Come and join Horsham CAMHS where your skills, experience and ideas will be appreciated and valued! </p> <p>We are looking for a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist to join us for a 9 month fixed term contract, or who might be open to a secondment from their existing post within SPFT, at up to 0.6 FTE.</p> <p>We would particularly welcome applicants from minoritized backgrounds and those that actively demonstrate an interest in increasing young peoples' participation in shaping CAMHS delivery. BABCP accreditation is required for Band 7 positions.</p> <p>Our team has strong links to universities and researchers. A key advantage of working in secondary care is the chance to work alongside and learn from highly specialist nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists (with trainings in systemic, DBT, creative, analytic and CBT). Within Sussex CAMHS we have a strong psychology and CBT team. You will be well-supported with training and CPD, and opportunities for career development.</p> <p>We would expect the therapist to be conversant with IAPT principles, and practiced in using ROMS and disorder specific outcome measures as part of evaluation and of their work, as well as part of ongoing team audit. It would also be helpful if the therapist has demonstrated experience of offering training and consultation to other professionals within and outside the team as necessary. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a member of the CAMHS team, you would participate in the core multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention work of the team, and engage in multi-agency liaison work as necessary. You would also be required to participate in the supervision, training and the overall governance requirements of SPFT CAMHS.</p> <p>We operate a pathways model and you would hold some clinical lead responsibilities within these, including decision-making around treatment options, and supervision of low intensity CBT practitioners and trainees. You would also play a lead role in our group interventions.</p> <p>You'd part of a very busy but lively and welcoming CAMHS team, which offers a wide range of individual, group and systemic interventions, and is involved in a number of innovative evaluation and research projects and service developments. As such, you would be encouraged to develop your skills, ideas and interests to further your expertise and that of the team, in accordance with service needs.</p>

  <p>The post holder is responsible for managing a personal caseload of Eating Disorder clients and or other additional therapy related activities. His/her aim is to provide clients with the appropriate therapy input to facilitate their recovery from an eating disorder.</p>

  <p>DUTIES INCLUDE:</p><p>Professional</p><ul><li>Attendance at and contribution to weekly organisational meetings and multi-disciplinary meetings as required</li> <li>Ability to work independently as well as part of the internal and external multi-disciplinary health care team</li> <li>Working within EDS organisational policies and regulations</li> <li>Flexibility to work within the day service arm of the organisation as required.   <p>We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 8B Principal Applied Psychologist in Adult Community Mental Health (Planned Care) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT). Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) - Qualified

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The post is 0.5wte Senior Clinical Psychologist/Psychological Therapist for Longview Ward which is the female acute ward at Hopewood Park. The post will be part of the wider MDT working with service users on Longview Ward.</p>
<p>We are delighted to be offering a Band 8a Clinical Psychology development post within our Adult Inpatients Service based at Hopewood Park Hospital, Sunderland and are looking for enthusiastic Clinical Psychologists or Psychological Therapists to provide specialist psychological input on our wards. Previous experience of working in an inpatient setting either pre/during or post clinical psychology training is desirable but not essential.</p>
<p>There are three acute adult inpatient wards at Hopewood Park, two male and one female, Each has the provision of a 0.5 WTE (18.75 hours) Psychologist, supported by a 0.5 WTE Higher Assistant Psychologist. There is an 8c Consultant Psychologist post across all the 3 acute wards.</p>
<p>Adult Mental Health Inpatient Services provide multi-disciplinary care using a biopsychosocial model for service users over the age of 18. The acute service provides care for service users with acute mental health needs who require assessment and treatment in hospital. Service users admitted to hospital are often highly complex and have a range of experiences and difficulties including neurodiversity, psychosis, personality difficulties and learning difficulties, risk to self and others, forensic issues and behaviours that challenge.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post involves providing expertise in applying specialist psychological assessment, including cognitive assessments, collaborative formulation and interventions with service users and working with multi-disciplinary teams to embed formulation and trauma informed care. This includes individual and group based work and involvement of families and carers. It will involve supporting multidisciplinary staff working with service users through supervision, team formulation, contributing to understanding complex risk, developing behaviour support plans and providing reflective practice sessions and training to the teams. The role may also involve research, service evaluation and audit. You will be supported to develop your skills in these areas and in addition all of the wards have Higher Assistant Psychologist time and this provides opportunities for the development of skills in supervision.</p>
