  <p><strong>The Role and Person</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for delivering outcome based psychological therapy that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of service users living in the region. You will supervise a number of assistant psychologist supporting them in a manualised treatment approach, whilst working with the wider team on more complex cases. You will be offered supervision from a consultant Psychologist working within our service, they will encourage you to develop your strengths and skills with opportunities for professional development. </p><p>The service is community based and appointments are offered where possible in the service users locality as well as remotely via telephone and video. As some travel will be required, a full drivers licence is essential or access to good public transport links. However, in return, you will also benefit from having the flexibility to work from home when appropriate to do so.</p><p>The successful applicant will join a highly motivated, supportive and friendly multi-disciplinary team, and will report directly to the Clinical Lead. The service is psychology-led and holds psychological assessment and formulation, as well as the service users we work with, at the core of everything it offers.</p><p>Experience of using a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR and Compassion Focused Therapy would also be an advantage although support and development to gain these skills will be provided.</p>

Looking for a role with flexible working opportunities?</strong></p> <p>We are excited to offer an opportunity to join CAIST, our under 18's Crisis Service as an Assistant Psychologist supporting young people and their families across Norfolk and Waveney.</p> <p>The CAIST (Crisis, Assessment &amp; Intensive Support Team) service is a vibrant and dynamic service that has 3 teams based across Norfolk &amp; Waveney service, 7 days a week. The service is commissioned for 08:00-20:00 7 days per week.</p> <p>The team offers community based intensive support to children &amp; young people and their families. CAIST aim to establish trusting therapeutic relationships, to reduce risks when children and young people may be experiencing high levels of distress. We work hard to help children and young people avoid Tier 4 hospital admission, and when required, to expedite safe and effective discharge.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Whilst experience in working with children and young people would make you perfectly suited to this role, we are really open to welcoming people from clinical backgrounds who have experience in other areas of mental health. We understand that you will be able to bring with you a wealth of skills and experience to the team and would welcome new ways of thinking.</p> <p>You will offer direct clinical work (individual brief interventions and intensive support) with children under 18 years that have presented in crisis, alongside their families and carers where appropriate. You will take a key role in coordinating, delivering and evaluating our DBT-A informed pathway. You will be a champion for Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs) and will support embedding the use of these in our daily clinical practice across the service.</p> <p>You will also have a key role in service evaluation and associated data analysis, which will be supported and supervised by our Clinical Psychologist. There will be additional duties which will be considered and agreed with the Clinical Psychologist supervising you.</p> <p>Weekly supervision for this post will be provided by a Clinical Psychologist within the team. We have good links with the University of East Anglia (UEA) Clinical Psychology Doctorate Programme with previous post holders having been accepted onto the clinical doctorate and regularly have Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placement.</p>

  <p>We are looking to recruit a <strong>Counselling or Clinical Psychologist</strong> to join our Adult CMHT based in Kings Lynn Covering West Norfolk. The psychology and psychological therapies team in the CMHT has an exciting and vibrant skill mix including Clinical Psychology, CBT therapists, CAT therapists, Art therapists, DBT therapists, and CAPS.</p>
<p>The post holder would join this team and be responsible for providing assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy for service users accessing the CMHT. There would also be responsibilities in relation to providing supervision and service evaluation. There are opportunities for the post holder to support further therapy training to fit the needs of the service. In recent years this has included CBT, DBT, CAT, MDT and EMDR.</p>

  <p>You will be working within a unique environment providing therapeutic assessment and treatment interventions to the prison population, based at HMP Wayland/HMP Norwich/HMP Bure .</p> <p>The role is challenging yet rewarding. Often you will be engaging with individuals who have previously not connected positively with mental health services . It is an opportunity to empower them with skills that can equip them to establish and sustain a fulfilling life on their release back into the community.</p> <p>You will be given autonomy to manage your individual caseload , with support and expertise from the wider team readily available.</p> <p>Partnership working is essential within the prison environment to ensure a holistic approach to the care of our service users .
