<p>Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking a CBT Therapist. We are looking for someone with CBT experience who is looking to deliver high quality CBT and develop through regular supervision, CPD and a range of training opportunities to support career progression.</p>
<p>We are one of the national Talking Therapies services delivering cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based psychological interventions, through a stepped care treatment model to people in the community with common mental health problems.</p>

Hybrid Adult Counsellor - Survivor Space Oxfordshire

VACANCY: Survivor Space Oxfordshire - Adult's Counsellor December 17, 2025 <p><b>Job title:</b> Adult's Counsellor</p><p><b>Role summary:</b> The Survivor Space Counselling and Groups Service currently supports people of all genders aged 12 and over who have been affected by sexual violence. This role is to work with survivors who are adults aged over 18 years. The service currently offers a weekly online Drop-in group; Psychoeducation sessions; Counselling and a Neurodiverse group. The counselling service offers up to 12 sessions of counselling. Please ask if you have further questions before applying. All staff and volunteers attend the Survivor Space Core training when available. The Adult Counsellor will work on a week day from East Oxford offering face-to-face counselling. The remaining hours can be worked from home and from our other counselling hubs throughout the county. This can be on days to suit the counsellor in agreement with the Clinical Lead and needs of the service. The Counsellor will be required to attend the Counselling and Groups Team meeting online, Wednesday morning at 9am (usually 30-45 mins) and will also attend at least 1.5 hrs of supervision per month, and a 1-hour Line management meeting per month (online).</p><p><b>About the Group:</b> This is an exciting time to join Survivor Space Oxfordshire as we start our new Lottery funded project. Survivor Space Oxfordshire has been supporting and empowering survivors of sexual violence in Oxfordshire since 1979. Do you have a passion for working with older adults?</b></p> <p><b>If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!</b></p> <p>Based at Cromwell House, Winchester, the Older Adults CMHT offers assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and support for people with a deterioration in cognition and/or dementia and over 65's who present with functional mental health illnesses. We work closely with carers and other services, such as Adult Health and Social Care and with the voluntary sector.</p> <p>The CMHT is a lively, dynamic, and supportive multi-disciplinary team which provides care coordination and recovery focused care for individuals with complex and challenging mental health needs.</p> <p>You will need excellent assessment and communication skills. In addition, you will carry a caseload and participate in the team's duty system. As a senior clinician, you will need to work alongside other agencies to promote holistic recovery focused care as well as producing reports, supervising staff and running clinics as necessary.</p> <p>The successful candidate will have sound clinical skills, be able to coordinate complex care, have good administration and IT skills, as well as good report writing, organisational skills and working knowledge of CPA processes and safeguarding.</p> <p>Applicants must have a driving licence suitable for use in the United Kingdom and access to a vehicle for work purposes. Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00.</p>
