As a Psychologist you will be:

Qualified Psychologist - Fixed term contract

You will be working in the male forensic services, which encompass medium and low secure care for service users. As an Assistant Psychologist you will be:
<ul type="disc">
 <li>Contributing to psychological assessments and formulations</li>
 <li>Facilitating psychological interventions on a 1:1 and/or group basis to service users, monitoring and reporting upon their effectiveness</li>
 <li>Assisting in designing and delivering specialist training to others</li>
 <li>Assisting with the delivery of reflective practice for staff</li>
 <li>Maintaining clinical databases </li>
 <li>Completing outcome measures </li>
 <li>Writing reports for various audiences</li>
 <li>Service evaluation and other research tasks including collecting, analysing, and reporting upon an array of statistics</li>
 <li>Undertaking clinically relevant audits</li>
</ul>
To be successful in this role, you will have:
<ul type="disc">
 <li>Accredited degree in psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) which enables eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership</li>
 <li>A minimum of 1 year experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist in&nbsp;a forensic and/or mental health setting&nbsp;in a similar role</li>
 <li>Experience of maintaining office systems and undertaking administration tasks</li>
 <li>Creative thinking, clinical efficacy, and a strong commitment to working with evidenced based models of therapeutic intervention</li>
 <li>Strong organisation skills</li>
 <li>Good interpersonal and communication skills</li>
 <li>To meet professional practice expectations including the HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics, and the BPS code of ethics and conduct</li>

Dunnock View is a&nbsp;42-bed service, providing treatment for men and women who may have suffered trauma and are affected by Mental Health disorders.
A trauma-informed care model is used to focus on length of stay to make sure individuals are able to move as quickly and safely as possible from the service to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them.
&nbsp;Service users could be suffering from Acute mental illness, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Personality Disorder, Dual diagnosis, Self-harm, Substance misuse issues.
