We are happy to consider flexible options. There are opportunities for indirect working (e.g. consultation, supporting formulation skills development).</p> <p>Our Service has 10 teams with excellent track records working closely together, with opportunities for gaining different experiences to develop your portfolio. Our internal training programme for staff is positively-rated and clinical supervision practice is highly valued. We value the diversity of our clinicians, and the skill sets they bring.</p> <p>Whilst this is an 8a post we are very happy to receive applications from soon to be or newly qualified Clinical Psychologists in a preceptorship role (with a structured development plan to progress with regular support).   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Clinical Psychologist in Core CAMHS you will:</p> <ul>  <li> Provide specialist psychological/therapy-based assessments, formulations and interventions for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties</li>  <li> Provide a pivotal lead role in reducing waiting lists ('Referral to Treatment' (RTT) times) for Routine Core through indirect consultation and formulation skills offers to Core Mental Health Practitioners and providing direct joint-clinical work at referral, initial assessment and therapeutic intervention stages, where appropriate.</li>  <li> Be client-centred and a goal-focused member of our multi-disciplinary service, championing ROMs and contributing to service developments, as appropriate.</li>  <li> Empower and support young people on their journey to recovery</li>  <li> Offer clinical advice and support, consultations, supervision and training for professionals in our CAMHS Service.</li>  <li> Be an active member of an experienced multi-disciplinary service and contribute to team and service developments.</li>  <li> Contribute to case discussions and a 'careteam' approach to formulation.</li> </ul>

<p>We're looking for an experienced psychological professional whether you're a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, a BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist, or another qualified psychological therapist to join our friendly and supportive team in South Buckinghamshire. If you're working at a <strong>band 7 or 8a we can offer full-time hours (37.5) or you're working at an band 8b we are able to offer the vacancy part-time working 22.5 hours per week.</strong></p>
<p>You'll join a well-established, supportive team of psychologists and psychotherapists committed to innovation and excellence. We offer expert clinical supervision, a wide range of CPD opportunities, and the chance to contribute to service development, research and training. Our new High Wycombe hub is just a short walk from the mainline station, making commuting easy.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a member of a specialist Psychological Therapies team, you will work closely with colleagues in our CMHT and in-patient teams as well as the newly develop Primary Care Community Mental Health Hubs. You will also liaise with and support psychological therapists working at earlier steps in the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway. You will work with the Clinical Lead, Locality Leads, Team Manager and your team to ensure that the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway achieves its key objectives of delivering integrated, safe, accessible, responsive, effective and caring services to people in Buckinghamshire.</p> <p>You will provide psychological assessments and interventions for adults with severe and/or complex mental health problems, their families and carers. You will provide supervision and management support to other psychological therapists and consultation and guidance to our colleagues in the CMHT. You will have excellent communication skills and will participate in multidisciplinary risk assessment, formulation and care planning. You should be able to demonstrate your experience, skills and qualifications in evidence-based approaches in specialist adult mental health settings, this may include for example CBT or third wave approaches / Schema Therapy / EMDR / DBT / MBT / CAT. You will ensure the service you provide is of a high quality and meets national guidance as well as meeting local and nationally agreed targets.</p>

  <p>We are looking for a compassionate psychologist (clinical/ forensic) to join us at Ridgeway in our Secure Inpatient Psychology Service TEWV NHS Trust. It is a Fixed Term 12month post to cover maternity leave. Experience working with a Learning Disability population is preferrable.</p> <p>The post would suit an enthusiastic Psychologist, valuing the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, where psychology is a core treatment offer. A key part of this role will be using clinical leadership skills to influence teams to embed formulations, psychological understanding and psychosocial interventions in everyday practice.</p> <p>As a service, we are keen to support and invest in the ongoing development of our Psychologists through CPD opportunities, so an interest in developing clinical skills across a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches is essential. The Psychologist would have the opportunity to gain experience working with a diverse population that includes male and female mental health, learning disability, autism and older adults, including those who may have experienced trauma and/ or neurological difficulties.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The successful applicant will be joining the service during an exciting period of service development and transformation. They will receive clinical supervision from a senior Psychologist (with BABCP Accreditation if required) and will work closely with AEDS psychological therapies team.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing or contributing to the clinical supervision of Trainee Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists; this is, with support and, where applicable, training to assist in the development of these supervision skills.</p> <p>The post holder will be expected to carry out comprehensive assessments and formulations and plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of their psychological interventions (individual and group). They will additionally be required to contribute to the work and functioning of the multi-disciplinary team, where appropriate.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p> To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care. To maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines and Trust Policies and Procedures. To act within the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act (2005). To be aware of and implement Safeguarding Adult and Child Protection Policies, Procedures and legislation. </p> <p> To carry out comprehensive psychological assessments (and cognitive assessments for psychologists) and formulation, plan implement and evaluate delivery of psychology interventions and consultations to support people with specific needs. </p> <p> To actively involve people in developing and agreeing their own care plan, to act as an advocate and ensure that there is proper regard for their dignity, choice, self-esteem, racial, cultural, sexual and religious needs and preferences.</p> <p> To work creatively to adapt verbal and written communication to meet the needs of people who use our services</p> <p> To undertake comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective risk management plans.</p> <p> To establish and maintain effective partnerships and relationships with colleagues, other agencies, people who use services and their carers and support staff.</p> <p>For more information, see the job description.</p>
