  <p>We are looking for an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist passionate about working with complex presentations to join our diverse, dynamic team of skilled practitioners in South Bristol. You would offer evidence based approaches to work with service users and excellent supervision and training for Support and Recovery staff, as well as colleagues.</p> <p>The Complex Psychological Interventions Team (CPI), are part of Bristol Mental Health. CPI offers a range of activities to support psychologically informed care within the secondary mental health service. CPI has a strong presence in the Support and Recovery and the Crisis Teams. We have a unique identity as a group of highly skilled and respected professionals who liaise with senior Bristol management and meet monthly city - wide.</p> <p>CPI is comprised of multidisciplinary professions and provide a range of services both direct to clients, and indirect supportive functions with staff teams.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will provide specialist assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation, alongside staff training, supervision, consultation, advice and support to the South Bristol Recovery team. You will also provide clinical and/or management supervision to more junior CPI staff, placements to Clinical/Counselling Psychology trainees and engage in service development work as appropriate.</p> <p>To work within the Assessment &amp; Recovery Services, it is essential for you to have experience of delivering therapy to this client group, and to have been trained in NICE guideline interventions (e.g. DBT, CBT, Family Interventions, CAT, MBT etc). You will need excellent interpersonal skills to support the development of psychological thinking and intervention within multidisciplinary teams. Experience of delivering supervision and training would be essential.</p> <p>We would be especially interested in candidates with experience of supervision and management of Complex Trauma within secondary settings.</p> <p>We also plan this post to include the CPI Service User Involvement lead role. This entails working with a CPI colleague to co-facilitate our monthly CPI Service User Reference group.</p>

  <p>We are seeking an experienced Forensic Psychologist / Clinical Lead to join our dynamic Forensic Team within Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.   <p>A rare and exciting vacancy has arisen for a passionate and highly motivated band 7/8a Practitioner Psychologist to join our Secure CAMHS team.</p> <p>The Secure CAMHS (SCAMHS) service sits within the Ardenleigh site and offers treatment for up to 11 young people, across two wards. It has received accreditations from QNIC and the National Autistic Society and a quality review in June 2024 highlighted strengths in a positive team culture, great relationships between young people and staff and comprehensive therapeutic provision. </p> <p>The young people we work with have often experienced significant difficulties in their lives and presentations include trauma, mental illness, personality difficulties, neurodevelopment difficulties and harm to self and/or others. As a team psychologist, you will work alongside a range of professionals, providing safe, containing environments and interventions to help the young people understand themselves, their mental health and offending behaviour. Within the role you will have opportunities to provide individual and group interventions, supervision and management of others, and be involved in training, service development, audit and evaluation.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) to join the NHS Talking Therapies for Depression and Anxiety delivered by NHS Talking Therapies Southwark (TTS). We are seeking enthusiastic PWPs who are passionate about developing their skills in order to help improve the lives of others. Successful applicants can expect to join a highly valued and motivated TTS workforce who are committed to develop a person-centred and effective psychological assessment and treatment service to the local population.We provide extra supervision and CPD trainings on working with specific client groups, e.g. perinatal, older adult, young people, clients presented with long-term conditions. There are opportunities to shadow or facilitate our treatment groups (e.g. Overcoming Worries, Connecting with You).   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Our PWPs deliver low intensity CBT intervention, offer telephone or video sessions working from home or a team base, and face-to-face sessions either from the team base or from one of the GP surgeries. PWPs attend weekly team meeting, weekly individual case management supervision, and a fortnightly clinical skills supervision group. There is also a bimonthly meeting for all PWPs, their supervisors and our PWP leads, to review, discuss and develop the low intensity provision within the service.</p>
<p>As one of the few Trusts in London we are proud to offer flexible working as part of our new ways of working, and we are happy to talk flexible working at the interview stage.</p>

  <p>Talking Therapies Southwark has been commissioned to provide the NHS Talking Therapies for Depression and Anxiety for Southwark since 2008, and currently we have over 100 WTE staff. There are two locality-based teams, each responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients referred by, or registered with, the GP practices in their part of the borough. The south team is currently based at the Maudsley Hospital in Camberwell and the north team at the Munro Centre near London Bridge. Within each team, CBT therapists, psychologists, counsellors, psychological wellbeing practitioners and career coaches work closely together, offering assessment, psycho-educational workshops and groups, as well as individual treatment sessions covering all the NHS Talking Therapies recommended therapy modalities. The South London &amp; Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is the lead provider for the Talking Therapies Southwark partnership.</p>
<p>Our Trust headquarters is located at the Maudsley Hospital in Denmark Hill, London.
