<h2>Job overview</h2>Part time - term time only - 3 days a week - 19.15 hrs a week (8.45am - 4.30pm)We are seeking a qualified and compassionate College Counsellor to join our Student Support team. The successful candidate will provide confidential counselling (within safeguarding guidelines) to individual students and small groups, supporting their emotional wellbeing and helping them to overcome barriers to learning. This post is term time only role. The preferred working days are Monday - Wednesday, but Thursday is a possibility. The successful candidate with be required to maintain accurate and confidential records in line with College policies and procedures. The successful candidate will hold a counselling qualification at level 4 or above and be a member of a professional body such as the BACP. They will have an excellent understanding of child protection and safeguarding. Experience of working with 16-19 year olds would be an advantage. Candidates will to ensure they have private supervision arranged outside of their college working hours. An interest in supporting or teaching on our counselling courses would be an advantage. Forensic Psychologist (Part-Time, 2 3 Days/Week) Location: Bexhill-on-Sea Salary: Up to £55,000 (pro rata) Service: 6 forensic mental health wards Up to 70 service users We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Forensic Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis (2 3 days per week). You will deliver high-quality psychological assessment, formulation and intervention to adults with a range of complex mental health needs across six forensic wards. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive, well-established clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver evidence-based psychological and risk assessments, formulations and interventions (individual and group). Work collaboratively with the MDT to develop and review care and treatment plans. Provide consultation, guidance and reflective practice to clinical colleagues. Support service development, audits, and clinical governance activities. Maintain accurate, professional clinical documentation. About You HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist (Forensic) essential. Experience working with complex mental health, personality disorder or forensic presentations. Strong formulation, communication and risk assessment skills. A reflective and collaborative practitioner able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
