<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join 14 Arches, Staff Psychology &amp; Counselling; a psychology-led service offering psychological support to NHS staff working in Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. The service is based in Northampton but provides support across sites where NHFT staff are based.</p>
<p>You would be joining an innovative and enthusiastic team of two principal psychologists and two experienced counsellors, supported by a clinical administrator. Psychologists within the service offer one-to-one consultations to colleagues, in which we explore an area of concern and help make sense of what is going on; we also offer support to teams and team leaders, consulting when there are difficulties and providing input to teams through structured activities and reflective practice.</p>
<p>We are looking for an innovative and dedicated clinician with a strong commitment to improving psychological wellbeing for NHS staff and an interest in using their skills in a range of individual and group interventions with staff. Strengths will be psychological formulation which draws on a range of models, and the ability to communicate and share psychological thinking with colleagues. Also important will be the ability in the postholder to work at a systemic level, develop practice and take forward a project within the service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You would be expected to work alongside the established psychologists and counsellors within the service, delivering support to colleagues who refer in, supporting service evaluation and development and contributing to supervision, governance and service development. This would include:</p> <ul>  <li>Providing psychological consultations to individual staff who refer into the service around a concern which is impacting them at work</li>  <li>Offering consultancy to managers around team issues</li>  <li>Designing and delivering interventions with staff teams</li>  <li>Developing and delivering psychologically informed groups</li>  <li>Helping to deliver our pathway for staff experiencing distressing and potentially traumatic incidents at work, including preventative work, post-event support to teams and trauma therapy to individuals</li>  <li>Utilising research skills for audit, service evaluation/development and research within the service.</li>  <li>Providing supervision to other psychological professionals within the service e.g. trainee psychologists, counsellors</li>  <li>Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies &amp; procedures</li> </ul>

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Leicestershire Adult Eating Disorder Service.</p><p>The team is well established and have been providing high quality care for the residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for over 30 years.</p><p>The team assess and provide individual care plans for recovery through evidence-based interventions and strong therapeutic relationships to patients with a variety of eating disorders, on one to one basis and in group settings.</p><p>Clinical associate psychologists are a key part of our team and the successful candidate will join our current psychology team Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Associate Psychologist and Psychology Assistants.</p><p>The service team also consists of nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, administrators, dietitians, research and evaluation associates. Teamwork and collaboration is highly valued in the service and encouraged from all.</p><p>Experience of working with people with an eating disorder will be a particular strength for the right candidate. However, we are able to offer opportunities for with those with limited experience in limited experience in a developmental role.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will work with people who use our services to develop a shared understanding of their eating disorder, how they cope and the impact this has on their mental, physical health and well-being and those around them (psychological assessment and formulation).</p><p>Under supervision of qualified clinical psychologists they will deliver psychological interventions such as CBT guided self-help, CBT and other appropriate therapy models. The post holder will manage their own caseload.</p><p>A good understanding of some of the physical and psychological risks experienced by our patients will be helpful and you will be supported with this alongside training and development opportunities relevant to your role and equipping you with specialist skills.</p><p>You will also be able to take part in our weekly CPD programme, where we have an extensive range of internal and external speakers.
