  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Clinical Psychologist (Grade 8a) to join our friendly Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in North East Wiltshire, and the Wiltshire Psychological Therapies Service (PTS),for a period of six months.</p> <p>This locum role is primarily based in Chippenham and Devizes, while providing clinical services to the older adult population throughout Wiltshire.</p> <p>Working as part of both the Wiltshire PTS and CMHT offers psychologists the opportunity to treat a range of disorders and presenting difficulties.   <p>This post is within the multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and the Wiltshire Psychological Therapies Service (PTS). We are an enthusiastic and innovative team that values the input and contribution of all our staff and strives to offer the best possible services to our clients.</p> <p>We provide a wide range of psychological therapies, including CBT, EMDR, ACT, DBT, CAT, Integrative approaches, Schema-focused therapy, Mindfulness-based interventions, and Solution-focused methods, delivered in both group and individual contexts, primarily on an outpatient basis.</p> <p>The successful applicant will have clearly demonstrable skills and knowledge in working with people from the older adult age range.   <p><strong>Do you have experience working with Children, Young people and their families with mental health difficulties?</strong></p> <p><strong>Are you looking to enhance your skills and work within a supportive and experienced team?</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Clinical or counselling Psychologist to join the Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) Mental Health Support Team (MHST) on a part-time basis.</p> <p>You would be joining an MHST team of dedicated staff working in schools across BANES, offering Low Intensity CBT for mild/moderate anxiety and low mood, as well as a whole school approach.</p> <p>You would be offering 1:1 therapy for CYP with moderate MH needs that exceed/do not fit with Low Intensity as well as providing Clinical Skills and Case Management supervision and support to colleagues trained in Low intensity CBT.</p> <p>If you do not currently possess a post graduate certificate in Supervision, you will be enrolled on the one year part time post graduate supervisors course in order to meet the requirements of this role.</p> <p>You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the many exciting service developments currently underway. We have close links with the University of Bath and University of Oxford Doctorate courses.</p>

Counsellor Required: University of Bristol <b>Counsellor Required: University of Bristol</b> <p><b>University of Bristol</b></p><p><b>POSTING END DATE: 18 Sep 2025</b></p><p>We are excited to be recruiting a 30 hour (0.8 FTE) Counsellor, to provide specialist medium-term (12 week blocks) counselling for victims of sexual violence.</p><p>The counsellor will join the University of Bristol's Student Counselling Service for an 18-month fixed term contract.</p><p>During this period we will endeavour to secure long-term or permanent funding for the role, but this cannot be guaranteed.</p><p>The role with provide 2 full days of sexual violence counselling (approx. 9 sessions) and 2 full days of One at a Time Therapy (OAAT), which will include a variety of needs and presentations, not just sexual violence support.</p><p>Applicants should familiarise themselves with the OAAT model before applying and ensure they're happy to work in this manner: One at a Time Counselling.</p><p>This post will sit within our established multidisciplinary service, reporting to a Counsellor Manager, and working alongside counsellors, mental health advisors, and other specialist practitioners.</p><p>The service sits within the Education and Student Success division and forms part of a wider network of student support services.</p><p>We are looking for a specific working pattern for this role, so it's important you can work to these hours: Tuesday: 9:00-17:00 Wednesday: 12:00-20:00 Thursday: 9:00-17:00 Friday: 9:00-17:00</p><p><b>As a Sexual Violence Specialist Counsellor, you will:</b></p><ul><li>Provide one-to-one counselling to students impacted by sexual violence, sexual harassment, and other forms of gender-based harm, with specialist knowledge and training, such as trauma-informed, and pre-trial therapy.</li><li>Deliver support using our One at a Time Therapy (OAAT) model, ensuring a focused, responsive, and accessible approach.</li><li>Offer therapeutic interventions at a low to moderate level of complexity and risk, including psychoeducational and trauma-informed work.</li><li>Work within a survivor-centred, and safeguarding-aware framework, ensuring students feel heard, believed, and empowered.</li><li>Contribute to university-wide prevention and awareness initiatives, collaborating with colleagues in Student Wellbeing, Residential Wellbeing, Equality, Diversity &amp; Inclusion, and the Sexual Violence Liaison team.</li><li>Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records in line with BACP Ethical Framework (or equivalent) and UK GDPR.</li><li>Counselling is provided in person on campus in line with student preference and needs.
