The post is to cover maternity leave until 31.03.27. Services at WMRC include Specialist Clinics, Prosthetics, Orthotics, Access to Communications Technology, Birmingham Wheelchair Services and Posture &amp; Mobility.</p> <p>This post is within Specialist Clinics - this is a group of 7 highly specialist regional outpatient services - Spasticity Clinic, Multiple Sclerosis Clinic, Neuromuscular Clinic, Non-Traumatic Spinal Injury Clinic, Young Adults Clinic, Complex Neuro Rehab and Intrathecal Baclofen. You will work in a multidisciplinary team of Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Speech &amp; Language Therapists, Counsellor and Psychologist.</p>

  <p>The successful candidate will be part of a team committed to MDT working with people with learning disabilities. You will hold an individual caseload for delivering 1:1 interventions within the Wolverhampton locality, working systemically in line with families and carers where appropriate. With support from psychology and MDT colleagues you will lead on developing, delivering and evaluating a Division wide group programme to ensure citizens with a learning disability have appropriate access to evidence based psychological therapy. You will be skilled in both individual and group work adapted to match the different intellectual &amp; emotional abilities within the client group. </p>  <p>The team provides a full range of assessments, interventions, support, training and advice to individuals themselves, their families and paid carers and the network of multi-agency stakeholders who are involved in the care and support of people experiencing complex behavioural and/or emotional distress. A core member of the Wolves CLDT, you will bring experience combining the best of evidence based clinical assessment &amp; formulation with client centred therapeutic interventions.
