Do you thrive in multi-disciplinary settings where psychological skills are highly valued?</p> <p>Working in a very friendly and dynamic CAMHS Service, we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist based mainly in ourChesterfield Core CAMHS Base following the successful CAMHS Service submission for funding - we have a focused investment from the ICB (integrated Care Board) into routine CAMHS specifically for Reducing CAMHS waiting times as part of a Service Development Improvement Plan 2025 -2027. We are happy to consider flexible options. There are opportunities for indirect working (e.g. consultation, supporting formulation skills development).</p> <p>Our Service has 10 teams with excellent track records working closely together, with opportunities for gaining different experiences to develop your portfolio. Our internal training programme for staff is positively-rated and clinical supervision practice is highly valued. We value the diversity of our clinicians, and the skill sets they bring.</p> <p>Whilst this is an 8a post we are very happy to receive applications from soon to be or newly qualified Clinical Psychologists in a preceptorship role (with a structured development plan to progress with regular support). We have well established links with the training courses and regularly have trainees on placement.</p> <p>This post is funded for 0.6wte 3 days - there may be options to consider combinations with other posts.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Clinical Psychologist in Core CAMHS you will:</p> <ul>  <li> Provide specialist psychological/therapy-based assessments, formulations and interventions for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties</li>  <li> Provide a pivotal lead role in reducing waiting lists ('Referral to Treatment' (RTT) times) for Routine Core through indirect consultation and formulation skills offers to Core Mental Health Practitioners and providing direct joint-clinical work at referral, initial assessment and therapeutic intervention stages, where appropriate.</li>  <li> Be client-centred and a goal-focused member of our multi-disciplinary service, championing ROMs and contributing to service developments, as appropriate.</li>  <li> Empower and support young people on their journey to recovery</li>  <li> Offer clinical advice and support, consultations, supervision and training for professionals in our CAMHS Service.</li>  <li> Be an active member of an experienced multi-disciplinary service and contribute to team and service developments.</li>  <li> Contribute to case discussions and a 'careteam' approach to formulation.</li> </ul>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Clinical/Forensic Psychologistto join our inpatient rehabilitation team at Forest Close.</p> <p>You will be joining a supportive therapy team of psychologists, CAPS, assistant psychologist and music therapy working at Forest Close. The successful candidate will be based working across 3 wards at Forest Close. You will take a key role in supporting and implementing compassionate, high-quality, evidence-based care , with opportunities to be innovative and influential and will develop your formulation and consultation skills in addition to direct clinical work, service development and leadership. The post will suit a candidate who has experience and interest in working with people with complex mental health difficulties within an MDT.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post will suit a candidate who has experience and interest in working with people with severe, chronic and complex mental health difficulties within a multidisciplinary team and who can offer both direct and indirect work with service users, their families/carers and staff.</p> <p>You will be involved in offering team formulation, reflective practice, teaching &amp; training.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic senior psychotherapist/ psychologist to join our inpatient team.</p> <p>We are redeveloping our female wards, and this is an opportunity to develop new trauma informed pathways and influence the culture of care on the wards through training and consultation.</p> <p>This is an 8a vacancy, however, we welcome applications from psychologists at B7 seeking progression.</p> <p>You will be joining a supportive team of psychologists, therapist and CAPS working across a variety of acute services.</p> <p>We are involved in the Culture of Care programme, NHS England's Quality Transformation aimed at developing safe, compassionate, culturally competent wards. We are committed to reducing restrictive practice. You will take a key role in supporting and implementing these developments, with opportunities to be innovative and influential and will develop your formulation and consultation skills in addition to direct clinical work. Our team promotes practice-based research in acute settings. We have an established inpatient research plan and collaborate with the University of Sheffield. Psychology is highly valued by the ward teams. The post will suit a candidate who has experience and interest in working with people with complex mental health difficulties within an MDT. We will support your ongoing development in a specialty area of clinical practice core to inpatient care, through CPD, supervision and service development.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post will suit a candidate who has experience and interest in working with people with severe, chronic and complex mental health difficulties within a multidisciplinary team and who can offer both direct and indirect work with service users, their families and staff. You will be involved in offering team formulation, reflective practice and post-incident support, as well as providing a key role as part of the senior leadership team on the ward. Psychology roles are highly valued by the ward teams and a positive approach and commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork is essential.</p> <p>- To provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence based short term interventions for individuals and/or families with service users who are presenting with highly complex and distressing psychological problems, including psychosis and complex trauma.</p> <p>- To provide clinical leadership and contribute to the provision of a trauma-informed and least restrictive environment through supporting the staff team in their decision making and offering indirect support through team formulation, reflective practice and individual supervision. </p> <p>- To provide clinical supervision to Trainee psychotherapists and Psychologists and Trainee/Qualified Clinical Associate Psychologists.</p> <p>- To ensure the clinical effectiveness of own practice and of service functioning by undertaking research and development activities relevant to acute inpatient settings.</p>   <h3>About us</h3>
