Registered Forensic Psychologist HMP Location: York Salary: £58,000 per annum Contract: Full-time, Permanent Role Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Forensic Psychologist (RFP) to join a pioneering team at HMP York, committed to rehabilitation and psychological support for both prisoners and staff. You ll be working under the supervision of a Principal Psychologist, delivering high-quality psychological services that meet HCPC standards. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li> Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions </li> <li> Contribute to the supervision and support of Trainee Psychologists </li> <li> Ensure services adhere to HCPC Standards of Proficiency and Ethics </li> <li> Support rehabilitation programmes and prisoner resettlement initiatives </li> <li> Assist with parole assessments and report writing </li> <li> Help develop strategies to reduce reoffending </li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li> Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) </li> <li> Experience within secure or custodial settings is advantageous </li> <li> Familiarity with the Parole Board process and psychological risk assessments (desirable) </li> <li> RAPP registration (desirable) </li> </ul> Now Offering <ul> <li> Part-time or Job Share options considered </li> <li> Hybrid working available one day per week from home for full-time staff.
