We are looking for a dynamic Highly Specialist Applied Psychologist to provide leadership and clinical skills as part of Community Transformation. The post holder will work across the Treatment and Intervention Team and The community Hub delivering effective, safe and compassionate care.</p>
<p>We value the key leadership roles, Psychologists provide within the Trust. To support this, we use the leadership profiles for each psychology band, you will find these attached to the advert .</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The vacancy is open to either a newly qualified Psychologist or an experienced Psychologist, with appropriate job description and banding being applied accordingly to the successful candidate. Dependant on candidates experience they may start at any of the following increments: Band 7, Band 7-8a developmental or Band 8a .</p> <p>If recruited to a band 7 post, this will be a developmental post with progression to an 8a banding upon meeting the criteria within the 8a job description.</p> <p>We welcome applications from staff who are currently coming to the end of their training in Clinical or counselling psychology that on successful completion will achieve the required qualification and registration with HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist.</p> <p>Trainee counselling psychologists are eligible to apply for and to be shortlisted for interview and to be offered qualified posts when they are in their 3rd year of the doctoral training and have the following confirmed as completed by the university.   <p>ESNEFT is a large NHS Foundation Trust serving a population of approximately 1 million people in the Suffolk and North Essex area.</p>
<p>ESNEFT is starting a new Complex Obesity Service which will deliver bariatric/metabolic surgery, endoscopic and medical weight management treatments to the Suffolk and North Essex population. We have designed our service with many innovations to make it fit for purpose for the current obesity landscape.</p>
<p>We have combined the traditional Tier 3 and Tier 4 into a single comprehensive service (Tier 4 PLUS) and will offer all treatments including IWMP, GLP-1 medications, endoscopic and surgical bariatric procedures.</p>
<p>A national BOMSS survey of bariatric psychologists in 2022 found that there was a significant disparity between what activity bariatric psychologists wanted to be delivering within Specialist Weight Management Services and the activity they were actually carrying out. Psychologists spent most of their time assessing patients for bariatric surgery or other treatments whereas they would prefer to focus on psychological treatment of patients who need it.</p>
<p>We have allocated funding and created outline pathways for psychological assessment and treatment to provide a quality psychological element to the service. We are keen to recruit a psychologist who can continue to innovate and develop these assessment and treatment approaches using the latest evidence and quality standards.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<p>The role within the Weight Management Service will involve both direct 1:1 patient care, service development, advice to other MDT members and the potential for group patient sessions.   <p>We are looking for a clinical psychologist who is interested in developing their skills further within the Bedford Community Access Pathway. </p>  <p>This post is based within Bedford Community Access Service CAMHS (CAS) Service, and which provides a specialist service, to young people, their families/caring network, working closely with external partners including Education, Local Authority and Primary Care. This is a community-based post, located within Bedford CAMHS, offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care, assessments and treatments, group-work and psychoeducation to children, young people and parent/carers.</p>  <p>Bedford CAS provides specialist therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents and their families from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds, whose problems cause mild to moderate levels of concern to themselves, their parents/carers, professionals and the wider community. The team also works closely with the locality CAMH teams to provide a seamless multi-disciplinary service.</p>  <p>The team is part of wider and comprehensive Bedfordshire Specialist CAMH Services that offers a comprehensive stepped model of mental health care, from early intervention partnerships with all our schools and GP practices, to the imminent opening of an adolescent inpatient unit with intensive home treatment care, providing for all four quadrants of the Thrive model.   <p>The role will include the provision of specialist advice/consultation to the network around the young person, psychological assessment, liaison with other agencies, psychology interventions, cognitive assessments, delivering training and workshops, supporting and informing on the trauma-based care for the children and young people and their caring networks, helping to develop a system of care and embedding a trauma-informed approach with partner agencies, clinical supervision (Band 8A) and line management (Band 8A). </p>  <p>At Band 8A, the post holder will be an experienced psychologist with a substantial knowledge in the field of child and adolescent mental health, with an awareness of the social, emotional and psychological impact of care experienced young people.   <p>We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 8B Principal Applied Psychologist in Adult Community Mental Health (Planned Care) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT). You would join our community-based psychological therapies service for working age adults within secondary care services; you would work within our Community Mental Health Team in Walsall Northand potentially across the locality according to service need.</p>  <p>We are a combination of Practitioner Psychologists, CBT Therapists and DBT Therapists offering a range of group and individual therapies in line with recovery models of care and trauma-informed practice. There are opportunities to apply and develop your time-limited psychological skills in CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, CFT, CAT and ISTDP.</p>

  <p>We see clients with a range of complex mental health problems including CPTSD, personality disorders, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and moderate to severe presentations of depression and anxiety. We fully invest in the support and wellbeing of our staff. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Wolverhampton Talking Therapies offers intervention for Depression and all anxiety disorders. As a service we excel with positive client feedback and exceptionally high job satisfaction from our team.</p> <p>We are looking for qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) with the passion and drive to join our clinical team of PWPs, counsellors and CBT Therapists.</p> <p>Whilst accreditation is desirable, if you are not yet accredited we are able to support you in applying once successfully appointed.</p> <p><strong>It is essential that successful applicants possess a qualification from Talking Therapies Approved Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Training Course.</strong> (Without this, your application will not be considered).</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role of a PWP is very dynamic, and though at its core is the treatment of Depression and anxiety, no two days are the same.</p>
<p>As a PWP you will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of competence and have experience working in mental health services . You will deliver Step 2 intervention to clients presenting with Depression and/or generalised anxiety disorder, using modalities of telephone, video, face-to-face and computerised.</p>
<p>Candidates are also expected to engage themselves in clinical and case management supervision, and be willing to undertake continuous professional development. A commitment to high quality client care, good organisational skills and excellent communication abilities are essential to this role.</p>
