  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The NMHT is friendly, supportive and innovative integrated secondary care team. The Neighbourhood population are often a cohort of people who are often perceived as not suitable, too complicated for the current structures or fall though the gaps.</p> <p>We are values driven and use our values to guide our decision making.   <p>You will increase the levels of psychological support and care provided to people who access the service. You will provide psychological assessment, formulation and brief interventions/groups to people supported by the NMHT. You will also offer supervision, consultation, training and reflective practice groups to support all staff to work in a psychologically-informed way. As the NMHT is a developing and changing service, there will be ongoing opportunities for service development, audit and evaluation.</p> <p>There will be opportunity for the role to be developed by the successful candidate to fit the needs of the Wigan population.   <p>Do you have a passion for young people's mental health?Do you thrive in multi-disciplinary settings where psychological skills are highly valued?</p> <p>Working in a very friendly and dynamic CAMHS Service, we have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist based mainly in our Buxton Core CAMHS Team. We are happy to consider flexible options.</p> <p>You will support our psychological therapies pathways, and this is most likely to be in our DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) or CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) Team; according to service needs.</p> <p>You will also support the service transforming our ROMs (Routine Outcome Measures) delivery or support our existing clinical supervision programme; according to service needs. There are opportunities for indirect working (e.g. consultation).</p> <p>Our Service has 10 teams with excellent track records working closely together, with opportunities for gaining different experiences to develop your portfolio. Our internal training programme for staff is positively-rated and clinical supervision practice is highly valued. We value the diversity of our clinicians, and the skill sets they bring.</p> <p>Whilst this is an 8a post we are very happy to receive applications from soon to be or newly qualified Clinical Psychologists in a preceptorship role (with a structured development plan to progress with regular support). <p>As the PCLS psychologist, you will work closely with the other members of the MDT to ensure that service users receive a high quality assessment and intervention/ onward signposting.
