In this senior role you will play a central part in managing, shaping and developing the service. The postholder will contribute clinically across both ends of the service pathway including Male PICU services and Specialist Rehabilitation houses. The successful candidate will contribute to professional initiatives across different aspects of the organisation and play a significant part in developing quality of life and service user involvement strategies. Interests in risk management and assessment and in developing skills by working on complex cases including severe mental illness, and substance misuse are all particularly relevant. You will be joining an expert multi-disciplinary staff group and work with a team of psychologists who are focussed on delivering a range of psychological interventions for a diverse patient group. This is a post for an enthusiastic and experienced Consultant Psychologist with demonstrated leadership abilities and experience of working clinically with service users who have challenging behaviour and complex mental health problems within inpatient/secure settings. There will be good opportunities to develop a special interest and conduct applied research relevant to the field. Lead Consultant Clinical or Forensic Psychologist

HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist / Expert Witness Zero hours contract available £60-£90 per hour Are you a registered Clinical psychologist, looking for part time or free lance work? No admin or report writing included, face to face evidenced based assessments only. Key notes: <ul> <li>Zero hours Pick the hours that work for you. If you are looking for an additional income, this is the ideal role, to work alongside your current place of work.</li> <li>Pick from weekdays, evenings and weekends.</li> <li>This is a clinic-based role services offered are country wide. - There is multiple clinics in and around the region you will service the nearest to your post code area.</li> <li>Assessments are 1hour slots, including completing a Proforma which is provided by the client.</li> <li>Preparatory documents dating back to injury only</li> <li>No report writing small claims mainly.</li> <li>Fuel cost will be expensed by 45p per mile.</li> <li>Clinics are provided and paid for by the client.</li> </ul> You will complete assessments for Personal injury victims, relating to RTA's, as well as other small claims. <ul> <li>Personal injury Mental and functional health assessment, on the impact and mental adjustments a work related, traffic accident or clinical negligence claim, has had on the client.</li> <li>Conditions covered PTSD, Trauma, Flashbacks, anxiety and depression.</li> </ul> Preparatory time: A Patient Health Questionnaire-and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder completed and available to view prior to assessment. All experts are expected to review Medical records within the assessment cost, each assessment is around 1 hour and a proforma template is already provided for you, so there really is very little admin - as your reports will be written up by your medical secretary, you simply need to validate. You will be joining an expert multi-disciplinary staff group and work with a team of psychologists who are focussed on delivering a range of psychological interventions for a diverse patient group. This is a post for an enthusiastic and experienced Psychologist with demonstrated leadership abilities and experience of working clinically with service users who have challenging behaviour and complex mental health problems within inpatient/secure settings. We would consider someone with a minimum of 6 years relevant post qualification experience. There will be good opportunities to develop a special interest and conduct applied research relevant to the field.
