Remote ADHD Psychologist

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The NMHT is friendly, supportive and innovative integrated secondary care team. Senior Clinical Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for a clinical psychologist who is interested in developing their skills further within the Bedford Community Access Pathway. </p>  <p>This post is based within Bedford Community Access Service CAMHS (CAS) Service, and which provides a specialist service, to young people, their families/caring network, working closely with external partners including Education, Local Authority and Primary Care. This is a community-based post, located within Bedford CAMHS, offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care, assessments and treatments, group-work and psychoeducation to children, young people and parent/carers.</p>  <p>Bedford CAS provides specialist therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents and their families from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds, whose problems cause mild to moderate levels of concern to themselves, their parents/carers, professionals and the wider community. The team also works closely with the locality CAMH teams to provide a seamless multi-disciplinary service.</p>  <p>The team is part of wider and comprehensive Bedfordshire Specialist CAMH Services that offers a comprehensive stepped model of mental health care, from early intervention partnerships with all our schools and GP practices, to the imminent opening of an adolescent inpatient unit with intensive home treatment care, providing for all four quadrants of the Thrive model. East London Foundation Trust provides CAMHS services across East London, Bedfordshire and Luton.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will include the provision of specialist advice/consultation to the network around the young person, psychological assessment, liaison with other agencies, psychology interventions, cognitive assessments, delivering training and workshops, supporting and informing on the trauma-based care for the children and young people and their caring networks, helping to develop a system of care and embedding a trauma-informed approach with partner agencies, clinical supervision (Band 8A) and line management (Band 8A). </p>  <p>At Band 8A, the post holder will be an experienced psychologist with a substantial knowledge in the field of child and adolescent mental health, with an awareness of the social, emotional and psychological impact of care experienced young people.   <p>Clinical or Forensic Psychologist - Band 7 -(Full Time)</p> <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join an established team of Clinical and Forensic Psychologists in the Secure Services for people with Intellectual Disabilities at Brooklands Hospital. The secure services consist of an LD male medium secure and a male and female low secure service and an autism only male low secure service.</p> <p>The secure service ethos is to help and support people who present considerable risk to others (as well as themselves) to return to a less restrictive environment and/or the community as soon as possible. The contribution of psychological services is highly valued within the teams and service management, and it is fully integrated within collaborative multi-disciplinary teams.</p> <p>The successful candidate will have post qualification experience of working with forensic populations and/or considerable experience of working with people with Intellectual (learning) disabilities who present considerable risk to others.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The key elements of the role include delivering psychological assessments, developing case/team formulation, running individual and group therapies. The post holder will offer reflective practice, supervision and training (qualified psychologists and non-psychologists), and have opportunities to conduct audit/research. Contributing to and leading on service development projects is an important part of this role. The successful candidate will work closely with others to deliver on service projects and therapies. There is opportunity for personal and service development. Post holders may be required to work flexibly as needed to meet service demands.</p> <p>The psychology department at Brooklands is a well-established and supportive service and the successful applicant will receive support to further develop their skills and knowledge, through good quality supervision and training opportunities.       <p>All members of the psychology team receive excellent support, good supervision, and opportunities for continuing professional development. The post holder will be trained and supported to develop their forensic assessment skills and/or therapeutic skills in a model applicable to the service user population. There is opportunity for personal and service development work.</p> <p>The service has strong links with local clinical and forensic training doctorate courses and regularly provides placements for trainee clinical and forensic psychologists, clinical associates in psychology, supervision for research, and teaching on the courses.   <p>The community transformation programme in Leeds is inviting applications for a full time, permanent, Clinical Associate Psychologist. Community mental health services have recently undergone transformation to support the national priority of increasing access to psychologically informed care and reducing inequality.</p> <p>We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist with a can-do attitude, to become part of the therapy team in Working Age Adult Community Services with opportunities to work across Primary, Secondary &amp; Specialist services. The role will be varied with a strong emphasis on group work models including DBT, CBT &amp; CFT. Previous knowledge of and or experience of facilitating groups will be an advantage. Clinical Associate Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Band 8b registered clinical psychologist to work across the City and Hackney EQUIP and Heads Up Teams. EQUIP provides an assertive and responsive service to adults aged 18 - 65 for up to 3 years during their recovery from a first episode of psychosis. The service covers the City of London and London Borough of Hackney. Emphasis is placed on maximising wellbeing and on social, psychological, physical and educational/vocational recovery. The team works to standards set for early intervention in psychosis teams and participates in the annual National Clinical Audit on Psychosis. The team also works closely with the early detection team, HEADS UP, which provides support to those who are at risk of developing psychosis, and actively connects with local community groups in order to improve detection rates of this group.</p> <p>This post would be suitable for someone with significant experience, a strong interest in psychosis and early intervention and a collaborative approach to leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of psychology across EQUIP and Heads Up. They will also work closely with the operational lead and consultant psychiatrists as a member of the senior management team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
   <p>The principal psychologist role provides leadership to and management of the psychology staff within the service, as well as contributing to the senior management team within the service. The post holder will work alongside clinical and/or counselling psychologists already in post to support individuals who are experiencing or at risk of developing first episode psychosis and their families/carers.</p> <p>The post holder will supervise and line manage the psychological professions in the team and lead on other aspects of governance required to deliver an effective service. </p> <p>Whilst there may be opportunities for a small caseload as well as supporting the team with complex assessments and psychological consultations, the main focus of the role is on the team's provision of effective and timely psychological interventions in accordance with NICE guidelines for Early Intervention in Psychosis, and ensuring that the psychological professionals are suitably led and supported towards that aim. </p>
