CYP Psychological Training: Therapy Trainee CBT

  <p>We are seeking an experienced and innovative Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team in South Warwickshire. This is a key clinical leadership role, supporting the development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological care for adults experiencing a range of complex mental health difficulties such as trauma, mood disorders and co-morbid physical and mental health problems.</p> <p>You will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to psychological professionals and other multidisciplinary colleagues, alongside offering a highly specialist psychological therapies service to service users. Working closely with senior clinicians and operational managers, you will help to shape services, and embed trauma-informed and formulation-driven practice across the pathway.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul>  <li>Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions for adults with complex needs predominantly within the non-psychosis pathway.</li>  <li>Offer consultation, and supervision to psychologists, trainees, and wider MDT colleagues.</li>  <li>Lead on the safety and governance aspects of the delivery of psychological services in the team, including the management of referrals, ensuring processes around clinical data and information are followed and that staff have the training and development to practice safely within the limit of their competence.</li>  <li>Take a leading role in service development, innovation, and evaluation, supporting implementation of NICE-concordant care.</li>  <li>Contribute to workforce development, including leadership of psychology provision across the pathway.</li>  <li>Develop strong partnerships across local services, community organisations, and voluntary sector partners to improve outcomes and accessibility.</li>  <li>Champion psychological perspectives within the team, promoting recovery-focused and trauma-informed approaches</li> </ul>

You will support our mental health wards and community pathways by offering specialist case supervision and consultation.   <p>The post holder will be responsible for the clinical leadership of a new consultation and supervision pathway which will include incorporating al aspects of clinical governance, and provision of high-quality clinical supervision. </p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for the systematic development and provision of a highly specialist autism consultation offer for the mental health teams and wards in the North Lincs area.. </p> <p>The post holder will develop and provide support that meets the agreed neurodiversity service priorities. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Band 8b registered clinical psychologist to work across the City and Hackney EQUIP and Heads Up Teams. EQUIP provides an assertive and responsive service to adults aged 18 - 65 for up to 3 years during their recovery from a first episode of psychosis. The service covers the City of London and London Borough of Hackney. Emphasis is placed on maximising wellbeing and on social, psychological, physical and educational/vocational recovery. The team works to standards set for early intervention in psychosis teams and participates in the annual National Clinical Audit on Psychosis. The team also works closely with the early detection team, HEADS UP, which provides support to those who are at risk of developing psychosis, and actively connects with local community groups in order to improve detection rates of this group.</p> <p>This post would be suitable for someone with significant experience, a strong interest in psychosis and early intervention and a collaborative approach to leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of psychology across EQUIP and Heads Up. They will also work closely with the operational lead and consultant psychiatrists as a member of the senior management team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
   <p>The principal psychologist role provides leadership to and management of the psychology staff within the service, as well as contributing to the senior management team within the service. The post holder will work alongside clinical and/or counselling psychologists already in post to support individuals who are experiencing or at risk of developing first episode psychosis and their families/carers.</p> <p>The post holder will supervise and line manage the psychological professions in the team and lead on other aspects of governance required to deliver an effective service. </p> <p>Whilst there may be opportunities for a small caseload as well as supporting the team with complex assessments and psychological consultations, the main focus of the role is on the team's provision of effective and timely psychological interventions in accordance with NICE guidelines for Early Intervention in Psychosis, and ensuring that the psychological professionals are suitably led and supported towards that aim. </p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The NMHT is friendly, supportive and innovative integrated secondary care team. The Neighbourhood population are often a cohort of people who are often perceived as not suitable, too complicated for the current structures or fall though the gaps.</p> <p>We are values driven and use our values to guide our decision making.   <p>You will increase the levels of psychological support and care provided to people who access the service. You will provide psychological assessment, formulation and brief interventions/groups to people supported by the NMHT. You will also offer supervision, consultation, training and reflective practice groups to support all staff to work in a psychologically-informed way. As the NMHT is a developing and changing service, there will be ongoing opportunities for service development, audit and evaluation.</p> <p>There will be opportunity for the role to be developed by the successful candidate to fit the needs of the Wigan population. You will be supported by the team Principal Clinical Psychologist and NMHT Management team.
