			<p>Are you a Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in neuropsychiatry? If so, join The Avalon Centre—a 20-bed Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation Service supporting people with acquired brain injury who present with complex and challenging needs and require a structured neurobehavioural rehabilitation programme</p>
<p>Service users may be detained under the Mental Health Act, supported via Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, or admitted informally, with referrals from rehabilitation centres, psychiatric hospitals, prisons, and courts.</p>
<p>As a key member of the transdisciplinary team, you will provide expert psychiatric leadership and medical oversight, advising on complex clinical issues and ensuring evidence-based care. You will operationally manage services within agreed standards and targets, administer the Mental Health Act, and uphold clinical policy and standards. Your responsibilities include leading psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and risk management, while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and governance frameworks.</p>
<p>You will share responsibility with the GP for medical services, oversee 24-hour inpatient care, and supervise medical staff, providing professional and personal support. Acting as part of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute to policy development, service improvement, and strategic planning. Additional duties include preparing reports for Mental Health Review Tribunals and CPA meetings, attending site meetings, and ensuring timely submission of documentation. You will also play a vital role in staff training, education, and development across disciplines.</p>

<p>We are a close knit leadership team who provide a crisis and home treatment service to children and young people across Bristol, Swindon and Wiltshire CAMHS. This role would involve some home working and a clinical base can be agreed in one of our 5 CAMHS teams (Keynsham, Salisbury, Melksham, Marlborough or Swindon). We are looking for an individual who is keen to use their clinical skills to support children, young people and their families in crisis and the clinical and professional network around the young person.</p>
<p>We have a strong emphasis on training and the team has received training in NVR, Positive Behaviour Support, Motivational Interviewing and Eating Disorders over the last 6 months. We would be keen to hear about your area of clinical interest and are able to think about creating a job plan that will support your skills and expertise.</p>

  <p><strong>The BSW Specialist Community Perinatal Mental Health Service is looking for a Perinatal Infant Mental Health Specialist to join our team, covering the BaNES, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW) area.</strong></p> <p>The team is multidisciplinary, providing support for women who experience serious mental health problems or present with a high risk of relapse during pregnancy and the postnatal period. We offer assessment and treatment aimed at addressing mental ill health and enhancing the mother-infant relationship where mental health needs have impacted this. We provide multi-agency training in perinatal mental health to other professionals and agencies working with women in the perinatal period, in addition to offering consultation and advice. Currently, the team works alongside women and their families from pregnancy until their infant's first birthday.</p> <p>This post is suitable for experienced and professionally registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, or Clinical Psychologists, with additional postgraduate training in infant mental health or other equivalent qualifications. You must also have experience of working with women in the perinatal period.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) service is an exciting initiative in the Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) commissioning area. It is part of the Government's response to the 2017 Green Paper to increase access to mental health support by delivering evidence-based early interventions in educational settings for children and young people (CYP) presenting with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.</p> <p>The post holder will work as an autonomous and responsible EMHP while also offering supervision within the scope of the MHST initiative.</p> <p>The post holder will work in partnership with schools to deliver a range of mental health interventions within school settings. This may involve group work or direct work with children and young people, as well as offering mental health-based consultation and advice to teaching staff.</p> <p>The post holder will ensure the effective coordination of clinical care provided within schools, including consideration of safeguarding and clinical risk issues where indicated.</p> <p>The post holder will contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, providing supervision and caseload management to trainee and qualified EMHPs.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for clinical skills supervision and caseload management supervision of EMHPs within the MHST.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>Therapeutic Assessment and Intervention:</strong></p>
<p>Assess and deliver outcome focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, working at all times in collaboration with and giving respect to the education function of the setting inwhich the post-holder is working.</p>
<p>Facilitate fair access to services and promote social inclusion regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or disability.</p>
<p><strong>Supervision:</strong></p>
<p>Deliver clinical supervision to supervisee's on a scheduled basis to ensure safe practice and the governance obligations of the MHST service are adhered to.</p>
<p><strong>Effort and Health &amp; Safety Factors:</strong></p>
<p>Working with service users in distress and who on occasion may have used coping strategies such as self-harm, or present as hostile, confused and have difficulty communicating and as a result may pose risks to themselves or the safety of others.</p>
<p>Frequent driving and working across multiple sites to deliver interventions and attend to administrative tasks. There is an expectation to work mainly out of allocated schools but the post holder must be prepared to attend satellite sites, our main office and some home working.</p>
