The team provides an alternative to hospital admission by delivering intensive community-based interventions and acts as a gatekeeper for hospital admissions. If admission is necessary, the CRHTT helps shorten the inpatient stay by facilitating a supportive discharge back to the community.</p> <p>The Haven: This is a 24/7 community-based mental health crisis unit, designed as an alternative to Emergency Department (ED) attendance for those without acute physical or medical issues. The Haven provides a safe, comfortable environment for comprehensive assessment and risk formulation, aiming to develop an appropriate care plan and onward clinical pathway. The extended timeframe allows for more thorough assessment and coordination of community support.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an innovative and resilient clinician who can offer evidenced based assessment and interventions for service users presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. This post will offer a full range of evidence-based psychological interventions as well as complex assessments, formulations and consultations to colleagues from other disciplines within the team. You will be a strong team player who will support other MDT colleagues to deliver psychologically informed interventions though the provision of supervision and reflective practice and where appropriate, to supervise Band 7 Psychological therapists.   <p>We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties to come and work in the socially and ethnically diverse borough of Tower Hamlets. </p> <p>Tower Hamlets CAMHS is a friendly, thriving and innovative service; ELFT has a strong ethos of Quality Improvement, and we are keen to continually develop our service.The service includes professionals from various disciplines including psychiatry, nursing, social workers, psychology, occupational therapy, psychotherapy and family therapy, who come together to provide high quality holistic care for young people and their families. </p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This is a community-based post, located within the Neurodevelopmental Team in Tower Hamlets CAMHS offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care, assessments and treatments to a wide variety of clinical presentations. </p> <p>The post holder will provide evidence based episodes of care, assessments and treatment to young people with moderate to severe Learning Disability. The post holder will bring their clinical knowledge and skills to this team. NDT provide a broad range of evidence-based interventions including an established group programme (supporting behaviour, sleep, and a neuroaffirmative group for YP who have received recent diagnosis of ASC), Positive Behaviour Support, ASC assessment clinic (where necessary, appropriate training will be provided to ensure staff are equipped to complete ASC assessments effectively) consultation to CAMHS colleagues and schools, and direct work with children and their families, which the post holder will contribute towards. The post holder will join committed and enthusiastic colleagues and will contribute to the next phase of development for the team.</p>

<p>We are excited to recruit the right qualified EMHPs. We have posts available in both Hull and East Riding Mental Health Support Teams.</p>
<p>The teams work directly into schools and colleges with children and young people between the ages of 5 to 18.</p>
<p>The teams support schools and the wider system and have a particular focus on whole school approach, advice, support, guidance and consultation.</p>
<p>The teams also deliver targeted low intensity CBT informed based 1:1 and group sessions, parent led workshops and creative based interventions to support mild to moderate social, emotional and mental health needs.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate with appropriate supervision, will work as an autonomous and responsible practitioner as their training affords and within the scope of their local job description, to engage in.</p>

<li>Delivering evidence-based intervention for children and young people in education setting with mild to moderate mental health problems</li>
<li>Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services</li>
<li>Supporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify and where appropriate manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing</li>
<li>Working with and within education environments to afford better access to specialist mental health services, and use the acquired skills, knowledge and abilities to deliver a service based within education settings that builds on and reinforces but does not replace those initiatives that already exist within these environments.</li>
