<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>You would be joining a comprehensive and dynamic CAMH service, delivering a substantial, stepped model of care following the needs-led i-Thrive framework. This is a post within an established Mental Health Support Team in Luton. Your role will help to develop and deliver a wide range of interventions, projects and system changes, with the aim of the whole school and whole community approaches supporting young people's mental health. In addition to providing comprehensive consultation, assessment, risk management and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties in schools, the post-holder will also clinically supervise colleagues. There may be a possibility of supervisor training at Reading University, which we would strongly encourage the post-holder to take up.</p> <p>We offer an exciting and a dynamic environment, where your ideas and career development will be valued. You will be supported directly by a senior colleague, and we will develop the service together. You will be supported by regular, separate clinical and management supervision sessions, access to a variety of CPD sessions, and an annual performance appraisal.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for a confident CAMHS professional with a demonstrable track record, within CAMHS, of providing good quality, evidence-based interventions and improving service quality. You will be a Mental Health Nurse, Systemic Family Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Art Psychotherapist, Social Worker, Child Psychotherapist, CBT Therapist, Counsellor or Occupational Therapist, with the requisite professional registration. We welcome applicants who have experience of working or living in Central Bedfordshire or Luton.</p> <p>There is a national focus on increasing the reach of Mental Health Support Teams, with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. The recently published NHS 10 Year Plan has an ambition to increase MHSTs' coverage to all schools by 2030. There is a specific focus on developing more access to help and aiding and improving the general culture of emotional support within all primary and secondary schools, including special educational provisions and PRUs. Working alongside community partners, the Mental Health Support Team will be fully integrated with community CAMHS and educational settings.</p>

<p>Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking a CBT Therapist. We are looking for someone with CBT experience who is looking to deliver high quality CBT and develop through regular supervision, CPD and a range of training opportunities to support career progression.</p>
<p>We are one of the national Talking Therapies services delivering cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based psychological interventions, through a stepped care treatment model to people in the community with common mental health problems.</p>
<p>We have links with the Oxford Centre for Psychological Health that includes Oxford Centre for Cognitive Therapy (OCTC) and Oxford Institute for Clinical Psychology Training, which is hosted by the Trust.   <p>You would be joining a comprehensive and dynamic CAMH service, delivering a substantial stepped model of care following the needs-led i-Thrive framework. There are a number of posts across the whole of Central Bedfordshire. Your role will help to develop and deliver a wide range of interventions, projects and system changes with the aim of the whole community approaches to supporting young people's mental health. These are newly funded roles that are community based, whose aim is to offer an Early Intervention service for Young People whose complexities cannot be served by our 5 Mental health in Support Teams but do not reach the threshold for core CAMHS.   <p>We are looking for confident CAMHS professionals with a demonstrable track record, within CAMHS, of providing good quality evidence-based interventions and improving service quality. You will be a Mental Health Nurse, Systemic Family Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Arts Psychotherapist, Social Worker, Child Psychotherapist, CBT Therapist, Counsellor or Occupational Therapist with the requisite professional registration. We welcome applicants who have experience of working or living in Central Bedfordshire.</p> <p>There is a national focus on increasing the reach of Early Intervention for Children and Young People with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. In line with the recently published NHS 10 Year Plan we have an ambition to increase more access to early Intervention to all Young people in Central Bedfordshire and improve the general culture of emotional support to all Young people and their families. The post holder is accountable to the Greenwich CAMHS Operational Manager.</p> <p><strong>Purpose of the Role</strong></p> <p>The CAMHS Specialist supports the implementation of service and trust initiatives, monitors and evaluates care quality, and manages a caseload of children and young people with complex mental health needs. The role requires independent working, leadership in clinical practice, andactive participation in a multidisciplinary team.</p>

<li>Undertake CAMHS initial assessment and develop appropriate care plans for CYP</li>
<li>Manage and coordinate care for a defined caseload</li>
<li>Develop, deliver, and evaluate individualised therapeutic intervention appropriate to core training skills</li>
<li>Provide specialist mental health advice, consultation, and signposting.</li>
<li>Train and mentor students, junior staff, and community professionals.</li>
<li>Assess and manage risk, including safeguarding responsibilities.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues, and external agencies.</li>
<li>Maintain high standards of documentation and adhere to legal, ethical, and professional guidelines.</li>
<li>Participate in service development, policy implementation, and professional forums.</li>
