<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist or Specialist Practitioner Psychologist to work as part of the neuropsychology service within the Mid Yorkshire NHS Teaching Trust. This is a fixed term post for 5.5 months, full-time though we will consider application for part time hours. The role will work in our neuropsychology outpatients department. The posts will provide an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills in working with people with neurological conditions.</p><p>We welcome applications from enthusiastic, highly motivated and resourceful individuals with strong skills in delivering psychological therapy and in working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.</p><p>The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, with embedded admin support. The department comprises clinical psychologists, counsellors, and specialist psychotherapists working into a range of specialities including Neuropsychology, Spinal, Pain, Burns, Oncology and Palliative Care Services. We actively encourage and support supervision, CPD and service-related research.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul><li>To carry out specialised psychological assessments using a range of measures (interview, standardised questionnaires, rating scales, observation) of patients who have highly complex medical and psychological histories, in order to arrive at a formulation of need.</li><li>Where appropriate to the psychological profession, to provide specialist neuropsychological assessment of adults within the neurosciences service, utilising information from a broad range of standardised psychometric tests, case history and clinical interview and integrating it into a neuropsychological formulation of the client and the psychosocial environment drawing on a range of psychological and neuropsychological theoretical perspectives.</li><li>To formulate and implement psychological intervention based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the clients presentation, and employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy.</li><li>To undertake risk assessment and risk management for relevant individual patients and to provide both general and specialist advice for psychologists and other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management.</li><li>To carry out such other duties as the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and Head of Service may reasonably request.</li><li>To contribute to service-wide culture and practice of continuous improvement

  <p>We are looking for a compassionate psychologist (clinical/ forensic) to join us at Ridgeway in our Secure Inpatient Psychology Service TEWV NHS Trust. It is a Fixed Term 12month post to cover maternity leave. Experience working with a Learning Disability population is preferrable.</p> <p>The post would suit an enthusiastic Psychologist, valuing the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, where psychology is a core treatment offer.   <p>The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) service is an exciting initiative in the Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) commissioning area. It is part of the Government's response to the 2017 Green Paper to increase access to mental health support by delivering evidence-based early interventions in educational settings for children and young people (CYP) presenting with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.</p> <p>The post holder will work as an autonomous and responsible EMHP while also offering supervision within the scope of the MHST initiative.</p> <p>The post holder will work in partnership with schools to deliver a range of mental health interventions within school settings. This may involve group work or direct work with children and young people, as well as offering mental health-based consultation and advice to teaching staff.</p> <p>The post holder will ensure the effective coordination of clinical care provided within schools, including consideration of safeguarding and clinical risk issues where indicated.</p> <p>The post holder will contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, providing supervision and caseload management to trainee and qualified EMHPs.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for clinical skills supervision and caseload management supervision of EMHPs within the MHST.</p>

<p>Working with service users in distress and who on occasion may have used coping strategies such as self-harm, or present as hostile, confused and have difficulty communicating and as a result may pose risks to themselves or the safety of others.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Wellbeing Service is part of the national IAPT programme, aimed at helping people across Suffolk aged 16 and over, who are suffering with mild to moderately severe anxiety and depression.</p> <p>You will be fully accredited CBT Therapist with the BABCP.</p> <p>We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to The Wellbeing Service.</p> <p>The Wellbeing Service is expanding, and we work closely with community colleagues to support people living with Long Term Conditions as well as our core work. We will offer evidence based psychological treatments to help individuals to live well with their condition, and strengthen links with key physical health colleagues in our area. Additional training in working with Long Term Conditions will be provided.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
   <p>You will provide high intensity interventions to a range of adults with anxiety, depression and trauma related problems. You will receive regular supervision as well as in service training and CPD days that ensure your continued learning and development. This is an opportunity to join an established team of Psychological Therapists providing a range of NICE compliant treatments at Step 3. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.</p> <p>Experience of working in Primary Care will be an advantage. As well as 1:1 work you may be expected to co-facilitate group interventions. For the delivery of group work we provide training and additional support, should you need it.</p> <p>As a Band 7 therapist, you will contribute to the on-going development and evaluation of the service.</p> <p>The post will be based in one of our sites in Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, dependent on applicants own location, however, there is a requirement to work across Suffolk as required. Treatments are currently being delivered digitally and remotely from home as well as face to face treatment provision in clinical spaces across the county. There will therefore be an expectation to work a hybrid model of set days at home and set days from a clinic setting. </p>
