  <p>We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Lincoln, Louth and Gainsborough Mental Health Support Team as a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP)/Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) at Band 5 (Agenda For Change).</p>
<p>This is a diverse role and an opportunity to make a real difference in outcomes for children, young people, and families by offering early support and intervention.</p>
<p>The Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) support children and young people aged 5-18 within school and college settings who are presenting with mental health or emotional wellbeing problems which are of a low to moderate level of complexity and/or intensity.</p>
<p>You will support several allocated education settings, offering support to children and young people and their families. A key part of the role is around implementing Public Health England's Whole School Approach, part of which will be to deliver training, workshops and assemblies to the wider educational communities and promote awareness of mental health within the educational settings.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As an MHST practitioner you will manage a caseload of young people, providing interventions for mild-moderate mental health needs using Low-Intensity CBT and other evidence based interventions. You will also lead in implementing the Whole School Approach within your allocated settings by providing regular consultation, advice and training to professionals.</p>
<p>You will receive regular managerial and clinical supervision to support you throughout this role. There will be an opportunity to access internal training as well as identification of other development needs via your appraisal.</p>
<p>This is advertised as a full-time post operating Monday to Friday 9am-5pm; however, other working patterns can be considered, and the base can be negotiated.</p>

We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care.</p> <p>Broughton House is divided into five distinct areas to support individuals within smaller environments. The main part of the building offers nine beds, with four beds in both the Coach House and The Flat. On-site there are two separate properties, Sutton House and Sandbeck House, each with six beds.</p> <p><strong>Your Day-to-Day </strong></p> <ul> <li>You'll be working 16 hours a week </li><li>Work as a team Psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)</li><li>Carry out psychological assessments &amp; provide therapy to individuals &amp; groups</li><li>Collaboratively develop care plans with the MDT</li><li>Provide training &amp; supervision to colleagues, &amp; consultation to teams </li><li>Evaluate the service, contribute to its development &amp; carry out clinical research</li><li>Disseminate outcomes via conference presentations and publications.</li></ul> <p><strong>We are looking for someone who is </strong></p> <ul> <li>A HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting</li><li>Newly qualified and applicants due to qualify within 6 months are welcome to apply</li><li>Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT </li><li>Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs</li><li>Capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, physical &amp; verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug &amp; alcohol problems.</li></ul> <p><strong>Why Cygnet?
