  <p>We are seeking keen and capable clinicians for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner role within the South Bristol CAMHS team.</p> <p>We are a service working with children and young people with complex mental health needs. We use the CAPA model of assessment and treatment, which would involve working with a variety of clinical presentations and needs, including: suicidal thoughts, low mood, anxiety, OCD and emerging psychosis, often alongside neurodiversity. We also have a lot of referrals for young people with disordered eating and diagnosed Eating Disorders, and there are opportunities to work within this clinic if this is something you are interested in.</p> <p>We are looking for a practitioner with a core professional registration, including registered nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, art therapists and CBT therapists.</p> <p>South Bristol is an area of significant disparities in health, wealth and access.   <p>To work within a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment and treatment of children and young people with serious and complex mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>To work with and support the system around the child or young person including family and wider professional network.</p>
<p>To contribute to the rota/duty system providing telephone support and advice to young people, carers and professionals who are open to South Bristol CAMHS.</p>
<p>Where required, contribute to the CAMHS Getting Advice team to support in triaging referrals made to the wider CAMHS service.</p>
<p>This post is open to newly qualified social workers. In line with AWP trust policy all newly qualified social workers (NQSW) will be recruited initially at Band 5 level, regardless of advertised role banding. All NQSW's are expected to successfully complete their ASYE within 2 years of employment, unless there are exceptional circumstances in which case it may be extended for a further 2 years.</p>
<p>If you have been appointed to an advertised Band 6 role this will be an automatic progression, following confirmation of your successful ASYE completion. If you have been appointed to a Band 5 post you will then be eligible to apply for a subsequent Band 6 vacancy upon successful ASYE completion. </p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for a substantive Band 6 Forensic Community Mental Health/LDA Nurse Practitioner for the FIND Team and Forensic Outreach and Liaison Service (FOLs).</p>
<p>The Forensic Intellectual, Neuropsychiatric &amp; Developmental Disorders (FIND) team and Forensic Outreach and Liaison Service (FOLs) are expanding services that with an imminent expansion are going to merge, that provide support and intervention to service users transitioning from secure care to the community. The teams are based at Fromeside, Blackberry Hill Hospital. The teams provide cover across BNSSG, BSW, Somerset and Gloucester</p>
<p>We also offer specialist advice and guidance to mental health and other relevant services.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will care coordinate a small caseload with support from an expert MDT and jointly work with recovery teams.</p>

  <p>This opportunity would be perfect for someone who has relevant forensic experience with a keen interest in learning disabilities and autism.</p>
<p>This role is focused on providing appropriate, effective interventions and treatments, including administering depots to people with Forensic LD&amp;A needs, their carers (including friends and relatives) and their supporters in the community, enabling and assisting them to meet daily health, social care and well being needs, in line with personal recovery goals, and facilitating engagement with mainstream services. The post holder may also be required to provide support, advice and supervision to team members and other mental health and CLDT teams.</p>
<p>Always under the overarching framework of CPA, the post holder will be responsible for the ongoing assessment, planning delivery and review of activities and interventions against identified health, social care and well being needs, acting as care coordinator for a defined group of service users. The role will also require undertaking and delivering specific health or social care assessments and interventions, including identified service users on other caseloads. This maybe either on a one to one basis, or as part of a group activity.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist to join AWP Secure Services.</p> <p>This role involves opportunities to work across our medium and low secure hospitals for men, women, and individuals with learning disabilities and autism, who present significant risks and mental health challenges such as psychosis.</p> <p>You will be part of a team of specialists and experienced psychological therapists, contributing to the establishment of a new Psychological Therapy Service (PTS).</p> <p>You will have opportunities to work alongside Clinical Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Art Psychotherapists, Drama Therapist, Music Therapists as well as trainees, assistants and students within our integrated PTS.</p> <p>This collaborative environment offers opportunities to work closely with service users across the spectrum, providing comprehensive and innovative therapeutic interventions.</p> <p>Secure Inpatient Services consists of Fromeside, an 81 bed medium secure unit and Wickham, a 30 bed low secure unit, both based on the Blackberry Hill Hospital site in north Bristol. The service includes a specialist women's ward and a specialist 8 bedded ward for men with learning disabilities and/or autism. We have a large, friendly psychology team with expertise in working with people with a wide range of presenting difficulties including; violence, sexual offending, fire setting, learning disabilities, autism, personality disorders and psychosis</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The roles will involve providing direct clinical work, consultation, teaching and staff support, supervision, and working collaboratively with other members of the MDT including psychiatry, nursing, arts psychotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists.</p>
<p>The role will involve completing specialist assessments, developing complex formulations and designing and delivering individualized therapeutic interventions; as well as facilitating therapeutic groups and engaging in complex systemic work.</p>
<p>There will also be the opportunity to engage in service development projects. The successful post-holders will need be adaptable, creative, to have good communication and team working skills, and to have experience and/or interest in working with people with significant mental health difficulties such as psychosis, who present a significant risk to others.</p>
