This includes providing guided self-help in both 1:1 and group formats, in line with the current Step 2 guidelines.</p><p>Typically for a trainee, the role will see you in base 4 days per week and attending University 1 day per week, although this ratio can vary throughout the academic year and dependent on the University attended. 100% Attendance at the university is mandatory and there is a high volume of academic work within the training year.&nbsp;</p><p>Upon completion of the University course and the Rethink Mental Illness Probationary Period, you will automatically move to a permanent qualified position on AfC Band 5 with associated terms and conditions.   <p>Successfully complete and pass the Post Graduate Diploma in CBT.</p>
<p>Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department's referral protocols, and signpost clients who require other services on to the relevant service as necessary.</p>
<p>Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients</p>
<p>Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.</p>
<p>Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service.</p>
<p>Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols .</p>
<p>Work closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach.</p>
<p>Undertake psychological assessments of patients referred to the service.</p>
<p>Ensure that client confidentiality is protected at all times</p>
<p>Be aware of, and keep up to date with advances in the spheres of CBT and other agreed psychological therapies</p>
<p>Ensure clear professional objectives are identified, discussed and reviewed with senior therapists on a regular basis as part of continuing professional development</p>
<p>Attend clinical/managerial supervision on a regular basis as agreed with Manager</p>
<p>Participate in individual performance review and respond to agreed objectives</p>
