<p>You will work 37.5 hours a week as the Senior Psychologist for a service that offers (Neuro-Forensic Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation for adult males).</p>
<p>In collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and under the direction and supervision of the Joint Heads of Psychology, you will support the delivery of psychology services across St Mary’s Hospital. In the absence of the Joint Heads, you will act as the primary point of contact between the psychology department and the senior management team.</p>
<p>As the Senior Psychologist you will have active participation in multidisciplinary team work, ensuring that our service users are fully engaged in their care pathways. It also includes supporting clinical team efforts through both direct interventions and the facilitation of staff training programmes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new initiatives and ways of working within the service and working in partnership with both internal and external agencies to enhance treatment pathways for service users.</p>
<p>There is a strong emphasis on teamwork, supervision and CPD, with support from a regional network of Psychologists.</p>
<p><strong>As a Senior Psychologist you will be:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Providing psychological assessments of patients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological (and neuropsychological) tests, self-report measures, rating scales direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the patient’s care.</li>
    <li>Formulating plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of acquired brain injury and forensic risk designed around the patient’s needs, and employing methods unpinned by relevant evidence-based practice and appropriate conceptual frameworks.</li>
    <li>Implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals within and across teams.</li>
    <li>Acting as psychologist for a ward and/or group of patients as directed by the Joint Heads of Psychology.</li>

<p><strong>To be successful as a Senior Psychologist, you'll have:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualifcation in applied psychology (clinical, forensic, counselling) either through the British Psychological Society or a recognised training body, enabling registration with the HCPC as as Practitioner Psychologist.</li>
    <li>Experience (either pre-training, on training, or subsequently) of working with clients with complex needs that are relevant to the service population. This can include forensic, neuropsychological rehabilitation, learning difficulty, neurodiversity and complex trauma.</li>
    <li>Competency in psychological assessment and formulation skills and an aptitude for learning new assessment methods including standardised cognitive assessment (WAIS, RBANS etc)</li>
    <li>A well developed competency in structured risk assessment and management tools.</li>

With the support of the team, you will administer neuropsychological and psychometric assessments that support the formulation of behavioural interventions seeking to manage challenging behaviour and enhance rehabilitation.</p>
<p>You will support therapeutic sessions by engaging in induvial and groupwork sessions, where appropriate, alongside other members of the team, and will assist in clinically relevant administrative duties, including developing and conducting audits, analysing and interpreting behavioural data, and developing and delivering staff training. In addition, you will join the senior management team and input into clinical governance, ensuring that the psychologically led model is both evaluated and effective.   <p>GMMH Health and Justice Services are looking to recruit a committed and compassionate Practitioner Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to work within the multi-disciplinary mental health team, which implements a stepped-care model of mental health and psychological care, within HMP Styal.</p> <p>We are seeking a full-time HCPC registered psychologist or BABCP accredited High Intensity CBT therapist to join the integrated mental health team, working alongside other psychological professionals including PWP staff, specialist psychological therapists, Practitioner Psychologists and an Assistant Psychologist. The post holder will provide assessment, formulation and medium to longer-term psychological therapy, to individual's presenting with common mental health difficulties of varying complexity, for which CBT has been demonstrated to be clinically effective. They will work closely with other professionals to support responsive step-up and step-down provision across the stepped care model and contribute to the wider formulation and understanding of presenting distress, including attending multi professional meetings to share formulations, treatment plans and progress.</p> <p>A prison environment can be a challenging place to work, we are seeking someone not only with strong clinical skills but also the ability to manage and respond to the dynamic needs of the team, the client group and the environment, to ensure that provision is accessible and appropriate.</p>

We would consider a newly qualified B7 for a preceptorship post and provide support to move to the 8a in due course. The post provides an exciting opportunity to be part of an evolving and fast paced adult community mental health service and to work with service users who have complex mental health difficulties.   <p>On appointment, you will be a core and valued part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team, working alongside a Consultant and Principal Clinical Psychologist, as well as other psychology and therapy colleagues. You will have the opportunity to receive excellent supervision and there are a range of CPD opportunities. Mental Health Nurse

Join the team at Moorlands Neurological Centre in Cheadle as a Registered Clinical Psychologist and help some of the most vulnerable people in society.</p> <p>Working as part of a transdisciplinary team, you will provide formulation-led, person-centred care in our Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation service which provides care and treatment for adult males and females with acquired brain injury and challenging behaviour.</p> <p>Supervising an Assistant Psychologist and working closely with clinicians from a range of disciplines, your specialist input will be key in achieving good patient outcomes. With the support of the team, you will administer neuropsychological and psychometric assessments that support the formulation of behavioural interventions seeking to manage challenging behaviour and enhance rehabilitation.</p> <p>You will support therapeutic sessions by engaging in induvial and groupwork sessions, where appropriate, alongside other members of the team, and will assist in clinically relevant administrative duties, including developing and conducting audits, analysing and interpreting behavioural data, and developing and delivering staff training. In addition, you will join the senior management team and input into clinical governance, ensuring that the psychologically led model is both evaluated and effective. There are also opportunities to conduct research within the service.</p> <p>You will be provided with supervision and support from the Clinical Directors and will be able to access a range of training opportunities to help both you and the service flourish.</p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include: </strong></p> <ul> <li>To take responsibility in leading and overseeing the specialised psychological assessment and therapy programme in operation at the service</li><li>To supervise and manage other members of the Psychology profession employed within the service</li><li>To provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to resident's formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan. Clinical Psychologist

<p>Are you an experienced Senior Psychologist looking for a new challenge in a rewarding environment, where you can make a real difference? If so, then join the team at St Mary's Hospital in (Warrington, Cheshire) as a Senior Psychologist and enjoy support from a regional network of Psychologists as you flourish in your career.</p> <p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p> <p>You will work 37.5 hours a week as the Senior Psychologist for a service that offers (Neuro-Forensic Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation for adult males).</p> <p>In collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and under the direction and supervision of the Joint Heads of Psychology, you will support the delivery of psychology services across St Mary's Hospital. In the absence of the Joint Heads, you will act as the primary point of contact between the psychology department and the senior management team.</p> <p>As the Senior Psychologist you will have active participation in multidisciplinary team work, ensuring that our service users are fully engaged in their care pathways. It also includes supporting clinical team efforts through both direct interventions and the facilitation of staff training programmes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new initiatives and ways of working within the service and working in partnership with both internal and external agencies to enhance treatment pathways for service users.</p> <p>There is a strong emphasis on teamwork, supervision and CPD, with support from a regional network of Psychologists.</p> <p><strong>As a Senior Psychologist you will be:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Providing psychological assessments of patients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological (and neuropsychological) tests, self-report measures, rating scales direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the patient's care.</li><li>Formulating plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of acquired brain injury and forensic risk designed around the patient's needs, and employing methods unpinned by relevant evidence-based practice and appropriate conceptual frameworks.</li><li>Implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals within and across teams.</li><li>Acting as psychologist for a ward and/or group of patients as directed by the Joint Heads of Psychology.</li><li>Developing and managing groupwork programmes and innovative therapeutic approaches and ensuring that appropriate outcome measures are in place.</li><li>Taking a key role in Psychology service developments, providing an evidence-based approach to new clinical initiatives.</li></ul> <p><strong>To be successful as a Senior Psychologist, you'll have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualifcation in applied psychology (clinical, forensic, counselling) either through the British Psychological Society or a recognised training body, enabling registration with the HCPC as as Practitioner Psychologist.</li><li>Experience (either pre-training, on training, or subsequently) of working with clients with complex needs that are relevant to the service population.
