You will work closely with the North Somerset Recovery Team as part of the Psychological Therapies Service.</p> <p>North Somerset PTS services work across all community, acute and inpatient services within North Somerset. The service is staffed by a multidisciplinary team comprising of clinical psychologists, arts psychotherapists, family therapists CBT therapists, psychotherapists and CAPs and works closely with other services in the Locality.</p> <p>We are a friendly and supportive team, who are highly valued within local services. Within PTS, psychologists are professionally managed with good supervision and peer support arrangements.   <p>You will independently manage complex cases as an autonomous practitioner, applying guidelines, policies, and research, and seeking consultation when needed. You will support capacity monitoring and caseload management within the Rehabilitation Pathway to ensure efficiency and equitable access.</p><p>Responsibilities include providing expert consultancy to staff and professionals on assessment, case formulation, and interventions; delivering specialised psychological assessments and treatments; and participating in multidisciplinary discussions and planning. You will deputise for senior colleagues as agreed.</p><p>You will identify training needs, contribute to the service's development strategy, and deliver teaching and training as required.   <p><strong>Are you a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist with a passion for Forensic Mental Health?</strong></p><p>We're looking for a Psychologist to join our team at Ash Ward, a 12-bed Male Low Secure inpatient unit based in Bridgwater. We provide person-centred care for men with complex mental health needs across Somerset and the South West, working within a trauma-informed, psychologically and medically led model of care.
