In addition to the mental health wards, Thornford Park has a 14-bedded low secure service for male patients with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, commissioned by NHS England, a medium/low secure service for females with a Learning Disability, and a medium secure service for males with Learning Disability.&nbsp; We also have two Psychiatric Intensive Care Units, one for males and one for females, providing holistic assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing crisis.</p>
<p><strong>As the Clinical/Forensic Psychologist, you will be:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Autonomous in managing your own caseload, which will involve working with complex service-users.</li>
    <li>Attending regular clinical and service development meetings, such as MDT’s, CPA’s, referrals, and other hospital-wide meetings</li>

<p><strong>What you will need:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Successful completion of a Doctorate in either Clinical or Forensic Psychology or the British Psychological Society’s stage 2 training in Forensic Psychology, enabling registration with the HCPC as as Practitioner Psychologist.</li>
    <li>Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society.</li>
    <li>Experience (either pre-training, on training, or subsequently) of working with clients with complex needs that are relevant to the population in the service area.</li>
    <li>&nbsp;Competency in psychological assessment and formulation skills and an aptitude for learning new assessment methods. </li>
    <li>Competency as regards risk assessment/management tools and formulation.</li>
    <li>Clinical therapy skills - Experience using CBT and/or other Psychological Models to address a range of clinical and/or forensic issues. An awareness of other modalities and how they may be applied to the current service user population.</li>

  <p><strong>The Community Therapy Service team in Wallingford is looking for an enthusiastic clinician with an interest in Mental Health to join the team as a Senior Band 6 in a part time capacity of 30 hours per week.</strong></p> <p><strong>Could this be you?</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a senior clinician with a mental health background, who is enthusiastic to develop their clinical practice within innovative and supportive multidisciplinary teams, treating patients in their own homes.</p> <p>The Community Therapy Service aims to provide high quality integrated therapy services working as a key member of the community MDT . We work closely with other multidisciplinary team members, social services and voluntary organisations for adults with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.</p>

  <p>As a Mental Health Practitioner - Physiotherapist you will provide high quality mental health rehabilitation to patents referred to or within the Community Therapy Service (CTS). You will use your expertise to help support other CTS practitioners achieve rehabilitation goals. In addition to this you will be supporting our community response physical health pathway.</p>
<p>You will also work closely with the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) to minimise duplication, maximise efficiency and facilitate a seamless pathway between the two services for the patient understanding the roles and responsibilities of the clinicians for establishing and delivering a care plan for the patient.</p>

  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our Basingstoke CAMHS team. This is a part time, permanent post providing psychological support to children, adolescents and their families. We are a caring and inclusive team who seek to provide high quality, compassionate care to those who use our service. There is potential to gain experience in a range of clinical areas, and we are keen to support you in developing your skills. As part of this role you will contribute to the neurodevelopmental pathway, supporting autism and ADHD assessments, writing associated reports and taking part in meetings. You will also support qualified psychologists with updating risk assessments and care plans, and work on service improvement projects.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To support and enhance the professional psychological care of users of the service, providing psychological assessments and interventions, including in group settings, within the scope appropriate to level of experience and training, and to undertaking related tasks to enhance assessment, intervention and evaluation within the care group. The role will also involve the formulation of risk and need to deliver care plans involving the psychological as well as management of service user needs in settings where there may be high expressed emotion, challenging behaviour and potential hostility. The successful candidate will contribute to wider multidisciplinary conversations and work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best results for our service users.</p><p>The job will also involve administrative tasks, including the maintenance of a stock of relevant tests, test materials and equipment, the maintenance and awareness of relevant Trust, Psychology and Psychological Therapies policies and procedures and responsibilities regarding incident reporting and Safeguarding in line with Trust policies.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed clinician who has experience working with complex cases within the area of community mental health with individuals who struggle with complex trauma, severe mental health illness and / or personality disorder.</p><p>Applications are invited for qualified clinical associate psychologist looking to extend their clinical and team working knowledge and experience.</p><p>The postholder will use a range of evidence-based psychological models and protocols when addressing individualised patient need and critically appraise these models and interventions (e.g. CBT, DBT, CFT) to inform treatment planning and appropriate choice of treatment protocols and understand how to interpret treatment choices with individuals, groups and other healthcare colleagues, when managing complex and chronic needs.</p><p>The role offers exciting opportunities for direct clinical interventions and multi-disciplinary team working, implementing evidence-based programmes of group and individual psychological therapies as well as providing consultation and supervision to other team members.
