Living Well Peer Support Worker

<p><strong>Rethink Mental Illness are hiring Mental Health Recovery Workers to join our&nbsp;inspiring and friendly team&nbsp;at our Sheffield Outreach Service.</strong></p><p><strong>Imagine being part of an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness. opportunity has arisen to join our friendly Ultrasound team at BDGH NHS
foundation trust.</em></p><p><em>This friendly team provides ultrasound
services across two sites, one at the main hospital site and also the brand-new
community diagnostic centre in Barnsley town centre. This high-profile centre
is the first of its kind in this area, within a shopping centre and provides
ultrasound and other radiology services within the heart of the community. With
easy parking and being surrounded by retail units this centre is the ideal
place to work. Barnsley town centre has undergone a multi-million-pound
regeneration scheme and is a vibrant, bustling town offering good quality
retail outlets and leisure facilities. The nearby Peak district offers
beautiful scenery, walking and outdoor activities. There is easy access to the
M1 at both sites and the train and bus station is a five-minute walk from the
community diagnostic centre. A slightly longer walk or very short bus journey
will bring you to the main hospital site.</em></p><p><em> You will be actively encouraged to widen your
scope of practise as we provide a paediatric, musculoskeletal, head and neck
service and an expanding vascular service as well as more routine work in both
general and obstetric ultrasound. The sonographers here have a wide range of
experience and are always happy to share their knowledge. Particular areas of
interest will also be actively encouraged and we are hoping to expand our
sonographer led neck FNA service.</em></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The purpose of this role is to
provide an independent, cost effective, accurate ultrasound service.</p><p>The successful candidate will
have a high level of clinical competence in a wide range of ultrasound
techniques. A Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent and
current state registration is essential as is excellent interpersonal and communication
skills.</p><p>The successful candidate will
demonstrate good team work and be compliant with all mandatory training
including clinical governance and protection.</p><p>Experience of working in an NHS setting is

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our Primary &amp; Community Mental Health Team. (PCMH). <p>You will be joining a vibrant and supportive team of well-established Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Clinical Associate Psychologists who are able to offer supervision, support, and professional development.The person should be comfortable in supporting patients both one to one as well as groups and be passionate about supporting clinical and non-clinical colleagues to build their skills in supporting patients with long term mental health conditions</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will work as part of the wider Primary &amp; Community Mental Health Service working across Sheffield's primary care networks. You will be responsible for developing close links with GP Practices, VCSE organisations, secondary care services and families/carers to ensure patients with serious mental illness can quickly access the care, support, and treatment they need in their local community.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Systemic Family Therapist to join the North Derbyshire CAMHS service. The post holder will provide systemic family therapy to young people under all areas of community CAMHS but predominantly those under core CAMHS. CAMHS Systemic Family Therapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) were established in Nottingham City in February 2020, providing an early intervention and preventative service for over 892 children and young people and their families so far. This includes providing support for anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties, as well as running workshops to groups of children within educational settings, on themes such as transition, resilience and wellbeing, general wellbeing hacks, worry and distractions and emotions through puberty.</p><p>Currently MHST are supporting children and young people in over 70 educational settings, which will increase over the next 18 months to around 100 sites across the city. The expansion is being funded through £1.01m from NHS England and Health Education England as part of a national initiative.</p><p>We work in partnership with the school community and other wellbeing services to develop a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing, building on what is being done already. We aim to achieve this goal through offering a range of services, including:</p><ul> <li>Improving access to mental health support and services.</li> <li>Delivering training and workshops for schools and parents</li> <li>Providing consultation to schools on mental health and wellbeing</li> <li>Individual and group interventions for children and young people experiencing difficulties with managing emotions</li> <li>And more!</li></ul>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul> <li>a strong understanding of how to work with children and young people who have social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties</li> <li>Knowledge of the educational system in England.
