<p>St Mary’s hospital has 67 beds spread across 4 main wards. There is one 17 bedded ward providing Neurorehabilitation services for men with acquired brain injury and mental health symptoms. Another 20 bedded unit is an acute psychiatric facility for men. The other 2 wards provide care to men in secure forensic services. This includes Adams ward (a medium secure ABI ward) and Dalston ward (a low secure ABI ward).</p>
<p>As a Consultant Psychiatrist some of your key responsibilities will include management of complex cases, formulating care plans and treatments for individual needs of service users, and guiding on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.</p>
<p>The team consists currently of 3.5 consultants and 1.5 specialty doctors, and you will deliver clinical care to a dedicated caseload. You will be supported by a practice nurse and an enhanced GP service to meet patients’ physical healthcare needs. You will have support from a dedicated supervisor and a medical secretary team.</p>

<p>Gateway Recovery Centre is situated in Widnes, close to Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and surrounding areas. There are excellent transport links, which allows the town to be reachable for those travelling across the Northwest.</p>
<p>Gateway Recovery Centre has 72 beds spread across 6 wards.3 wards constitute the women’s service with one acute ward and two level 2 rehabilitation ward for women with high support needs. The other 3 wards provide care to men in specialist rehabilitation unit for men with ASD (Cedar ward), low secure ward (Dove ward) and a rehabilitation ward for older men with complex mental health needs and physical health comorbidities (Ash Ward).</p>
<p>The team consists currently of 4.5 consultants, and you will deliver clinical care to a dedicated caseload. You will be supported by a practice nurse and an enhanced GP service to meet patients’ physical healthcare needs. You will have support from a dedicated supervisor and a medical secretarial team.     <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
    <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>

  <p>Warrington &amp; Halton Cardiac Rehab Team have maintained BACPR/NACR Green status for a number of years. We are part of the North West Cardiac Rehab Network, sharing best practice and training opportunities.</p>
<p>We see patients with varied diagnosis: MI, PCI, CABG, Valve surgery, Heart Failure, Heart Transplant, across two venues in Warrington and Halton. With a patient centred approach, helping them to achieve their goals. This could be to simply improve their breathlessness doing ADLs, right through to running a 150mile race...</p>

<p>The role of the OT in the team, will be to bring their specialist skills to the MDT team, supporting patients through their Cardiac Rehab journey at numerous points.</p>

      <p>Hours of work: 18 hours - 3 x 6 hours
Salary: £23,809 pa pro rata
Location: Halton (Runcorn and Widnes) - due to location - successful applicant must be able to drive.

This is an opportunity for you to be part of something new in our brand new mental health support service which recently opened in Warrington and Halton.

Working alongside our Crisis Recovery Workers, you will be part of the Mental Health Matters team offering free mental health support 7 nights per week from 6pm to midnight. Our services are provided in a welcoming, comfortable, non-judgmental, and non-clinical environment.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have lived experience of mental health issues, be compassionate, patient and non-judgemental and have excellent communication skills and able to relate to people with complex needs. You will also be willing and able to work evenings and weekends up to midnight
