  <p>We are seeking to recruit 'Registered' qualified Counsellors to join our Urban team based in Dorset. The urban team covers Poole, Bournemouth &amp; Christchurch.</p> <p>We have permanent positions available in Poole (full time 5 days per week 37.5 hrs) and Bournemouth West( 3 days per week 22.5 hours). The successful candidate will work as part of a team, be expected to work flexibly including one evening per week (1200-2000 shift) to meet with service demand.</p> <p>Previous experience of working in an NHS mental health setting, NHS Talking Therapies previously IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapy) service or similar organisation would be highly desirable.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join the Mental Health Rehabilitation Service as we launch Community Rehabilitation in North Kent. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced therapists.</p> <p>Community Rehabilitation supports people with mental health problems to live a full and active life within their family &amp; community, working in partnership with Social Care, Housing and Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.</p> <p>As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for offering high-quality psychological treatments (individual &amp; group) and family interventions. Case consultation and joint work with team members will also be an expectation. You will have plenty of scope and support to develop your own practice, whilst providing a highly professional service to people with psychosis and their families.</p> <p>What is High Cost Area Allowance?</p> <p>The High-Cost Area (HCA) allowance, also referred to as London Weighting is a payment made to employees who work in London and the surrounding areas.</p> <p>As this post is based in Dartford, Gravesham or Swanley, the successful applicant will receive an additional payment each month.</p> <p>5% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,303 per year and a maximum payment of £2,198 per year (the agreed annual amount will be divided into 12 equal amounts and paid monthly) (2025 figures)</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

Employed practitioners will ideally pursue accreditation or registration with one of these bodies; and will complete annual continuing professional development and associated procedures required to maintain accreditation and/or registration. All costs associated with professional memberships, subscriptions, conferences, continuing education etc., are borne by the practitioner.</p><p><strong>Liability Insurance</strong></p><p>Employed practitioners are covered against malpractice liability by ABL insurance.</p><p><strong>Supervision</strong></p><p>Employed clinical practitioners are required to attend supervision at the minimum frequency of 1.5 hours per FTE per month, with an appropriately qualified professional approved by ABL.
