  <p>The primary purpose of this role(s) is to offer
evidence based therapeutic interventions to children, young people and their
families (parents/carers). We are particularly interested in qualified
practitioners with 3 years post qualification experience, with a BACP/UKCP
accreditation and experience of working with younger children (5-11 years old) and
their families (parents and/or carers) and with young people in youth work or
other settings. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful post-holder(s) will be able to
work creatively and independently with young people and families (parents and/or
carers) to achieve their goals. They will offer individual and group
interventions as required. They will empower families (parents/carers) and
young people to manage complex situations and needs.</p><p>This role requires a minimum commitment of 32
hours a week. It may be suited to professionals seeking to work in the charity
sector, with its dynamic, creative and caring environment. The post offers
flexible working arrangements in line with business needs. The service operates
8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday
working.</p>

  <p>An exciting position has arisen for a psychologist or CBT therapist to join the Havering Early Intervention Psychosis Team for 6 months, fixed-term.</p>
<p>The post holder will join a well-established early intervention in psychosis service for people with a psychotic diagnosis and their families.</p>
<p>The post holder will join the EIP team, delivering CBT for psychosis with people aged between 14-65 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.</p>
<p>The post will suit enthusiastic psychologist or CBT therapist with an interest in developing their skills in applying evidence-based psychological therapies with this client group and working with multi-disciplinary teams.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will provide assessment and evidence-based interventions for this client group . The post holder will be expected to work closely with the multidisciplinary team and offer support on psychological approaches to working with psychosis.</p>
<p>The post holder will be expected to participate in supervision and CPD focused on evidence-based interventions in psychosis.</p>
<p>In addition, the post holder will receive individual supervision and group supervision in CBT for psychosis. The service has practitioners interested in Narrative Exposure Therapy, EMDR and Family Intervention for Psychosis amongst other approaches.</p>
<p>The Trust has strong links with the UCL, UEL and Royal Holloway clinical psychology courses, several Counselling Psychology courses and the UCL CBTp diploma. Current members of the department are engaged in teaching and research projects with local clinical training courses.</p>

  <p>At NELFT, we are proud to be the largest provider of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in England. Our teams deliver evidence-based interventions in schools and colleges for children and young people aged 4-18, while also supporting Whole School Approaches to improve wellbeing across education settings. Working closely with school-based services and linking with CAMHS where needed, MHSTs play a vital role in strengthening mental health support for young people.</p>   <p>We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Mental Health Practitioner (SMHP) to join our Mid Essex MHSTs. You will deliver CBT interventions, lead Whole School Approach activities, and support Education Mental Health Practitioners through supervision and guidance. The role also includes developing school networks, delivering staff training, supporting group programmes, and co-producing mental health resources.</p>   <p>Applicants should be CYPMHS clinicians undertaking or having completed CYP-PT CBT or SFP training, or registered professionals with a postgraduate diploma in evidence-based psychological therapies.   <p>The post-holder will be a qualified fully registered HCPC Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with a passion for working in this area. As part of the QNIC recommended structure for inpatient CYP units, we are recruiting for these psychology posts into our Kent &amp; Medway Adolescent Hospital MDT. The post holder will work very closely with Children and Young People's Mental Health Services across inpatient and community in Kent NELFT, the Kent and Sussex provider collaborative and other stakeholders. The Kent NELFT DBT Service offers specialist DBT assessments and interventions to YP and their families who are referred. The postholder will take a lead in liaison with all CYPMHS services to ensure clear transitions for young people entering and leaving inpatient services; linking with the DBT Service and where appropriate supporting the transition to Adult Services. The post holder will be part of the delivery of a highly specialist therapeutic service to CYP in the unit.
