  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a post-graduate qualified psychological practitioner (e.g. clinical psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist, CBT practitioner) in the Ashford CYPMHS Team. To apply for this post you must be fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g. HCPC, AFT, ACP, BABCP).</p>  <p>The post-holder will provide clinical interventions and assessment within their professional sphere of expertise in CYPMHS.   <p>The role requires a skilled clinician who can work both directly as well as indirectly to provide a range of clinical services and to manage and support psychology staff including senior psychologists, Clinical Associate Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and other psychological professionals. You should have experience of working with service users with complex mental health including dual diagnosis and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder presentations. Additionally, you will be familiar with the needs of local community of Newham and challenges of working with wider social determinants of health. </p> <p>You would be joining a dynamic psychological professionals' department within secondary care in Newham which offers a variety of evidence based interventions, as well as values practice based evidence, adapted therapies and co-production. You will have access to clinical supervision and professional management support from the Consultant Psychological Lead, and operational management support from a Senior Manager in community services</p>

Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
   <p>The post-holder will be a qualified fully registered HCPC Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with a passion for working in this area. As part of the QNIC recommended structure for inpatient CYP units, we are recruiting for these psychology posts into our Kent &amp; Medway Adolescent Hospital MDT. The post holder will work very closely with Children and Young People's Mental Health Services across inpatient and community in Kent NELFT, the Kent and Sussex provider collaborative and other stakeholders. The post holder will work very closely with the Kent NELFT Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Service who offer specialist DBT assessments and interventions to YP and their families who are referred.</p>  <p>The post holder will be part of the ward MDT as well as linking with the Intensive Home Treatment team to ensure a smooth pathway for CYP between inpatient and community flow. The post holder will facilitate the therapeutic component of the ward programme with the MDT to ensure the clinical model is delivered with senior members of the Psychological Professions team.</p>  <p>The postholder will join a thriving psychological professions team across comprehensive CAMHS (inpatient and community). We have strong links with our local psychology training institute and on-going NHSE training for workforce expansion and upskilling. </p>

Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The post-holder will be a qualified fully registered HCPC Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with a passion for working in this area. As part of the QNIC recommended structure for inpatient CYP units, we are recruiting for these psychology posts into our Kent &amp; Medway Adolescent Hospital MDT. The post holder will work very closely with Children and Young People's Mental Health Services across inpatient and community in Kent NELFT, the Kent and Sussex provider collaborative and other stakeholders. The Kent NELFT DBT Service offers specialist DBT assessments and interventions to YP and their families who are referred. The postholder will take a lead in liaison with all CYPMHS services to ensure clear transitions for young people entering and leaving inpatient services; linking with the DBT Service and where appropriate supporting the transition to Adult Services. The post holder will be part of the delivery of a highly specialist therapeutic service to CYP in the unit. They will be part of the inpatient clinical team and take on a leadership role whilst being accountable to the Head of Service and Assistant Director for inpatient/home treatment and crisis services.</p>
