The post is based at Pendle House, Nelson, East Lancashire Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service which covers Lancashire and South Cumbria and has close links with our other locality teams based in the Bay (Lancaster and South Cumbria), Fylde Coast, Central and West Lancashire providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people who have an eating disorder. You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a passion for working with people who have eating disorders including psychological therapists, systemic family therapist, specialist mental health nurses, specialist dietitian and medical professionals.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be joining the team at an exciting time of real development as the service works together to improve services for people who have an eating disorder. You will benefit from working with an enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality NICE compliant psychological therapies to people of all ages with an eating disorder. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from either a psychologist or CBT therapist. The service is committed to training and development of staff and you would be supported to access training in eating disorder specific CBT models, if required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver low intensity CBT interventions mainly focused on the eating disorder. Interventions will be offered in both 1:1 and group formats.</p>
<p>Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified Associate Psychological Practitioners, who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma Associate Psychological Practitioner (PGDip APP).</p>
<p>Please note: This post is subject to an enhanced DBS Clearance. As part of the pre-employment checks, successful candidates will be required to pay for their own DBS check at a cost of £55.50. Deductions will be taken from the first 3 months salary.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>With current NMC, HCPC, SWE or BABCP registration alongside a recognised qualification, you'll have a working knowledge of CAMHS and/or adult mental health and have an understanding of assessing complex mental health needs &amp; levels of risk, including safeguarding and self-harm.</p>
<p>Using your experience of working with vulnerable people and their carers who present with complex mental health needs and are often a risk to themselves or others, you'll undertake assessments and formulate plans for intervention, in collaboration with the Child, Young Person and those who care for them.</p>
<p>Dedicated to providing an environment that encourages patient-centred involvement, you'll promote good working relationships as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, making sure care is coordinated with the internal and external departments you work with, with the ultimate aim of providing the best patient journey possible.</p>
<p>Using your knowledge of evidence-based practice, you'll offer therapeutic solutions in line with the National Institute for Health &amp; Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To assume responsibility for management of a defined caseload and exercise the highest standards of professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children, young people and their families/carers using specialist knowledge and evaluation of care programmes in collaboration with children, young people and their families/carers, liaising with and referring to relevant agencies.</p> <p>To participate in a duty rota including receipt and screening of referrals, obtaining further information if needed and responding promptly to emergency requests for assessments or contact, signposting, and advice.</p> <p>To undertake assessment of children, young people including risk assessment, gathering appropriate information their family/ carers and other relevant agencies</p> <p>To develop a formulation and plan for intervention with the child, young person and parents/carers.   <p>MFT CAMHS Emerge 16-17 CMHT offer developmentally appropriate accessible and young person centred mental health services to young people aged 16 and 17 years, who live in Manchester Salford and Trafford. Under supervision the post holder will manage a caseload and provide a range of high quality care appropriate to the young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and evidence based interventions. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>As an autonomous practitioner you will play a key part in the delivery of high-quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of children and young people, their families and carers. Managing a complex caseload within the multi-disciplinary team setting, the post holder will provide a range of high-quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include full mental health assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and therapeutic interventions.</p>
<p>Within a systemic and holistic framework, you will undertake needs led, evidence based, highly skilled assessments and provide therapeutic interventions, ensuring this is done evidencing shared decision making and partnership working with children and young people, their families and carers.</p>
<p>You will provide advice, information, consultation and supervision within the service and externally within your specialist area.</p>
<p>As part of working together you will actively liaise with and support robust partnership working arrangements between the CAMHS team and community partners and other key stakeholders involved with the child across agencies that work within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health THRIVE framework.</p>
<p>This is a clinical post and the expectation of time management is the majority of time will be spent in actual practice.</p>

Specialist CAMHS Practitioner/Clinical Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for a creative and motivated professional with experience of supporting young people with their mental health needs to join our team as a youth justice link worker. The post holder will work within Trafford CAMHS as a senior clinician. You will need to be a registered professional. This could be from a range of backgrounds including clinical psychology, psychotherapy, social work, nursing or occupational therapy. You will understand young people's mental health and have experience working with risk and trauma informed practice. One working day will be spent based within Trafford Youth Justice team, part of the local authority children and young people's services. The successful candidate is required to managea caseload and provide a range of high quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, providing consultation to colleagues within Youth Justice and to wider networks such as social care and, Greater Manchester Police and courts. The post holder will have a range of skills and knowledge to deliver care in a multi-agency team setting and receive clinical supervision and management supervision from local CAMHS service, and peer supervision with the CAMHS and youth justice teams.
