  <p>In partnership with Derby University, 6 successful candidates will be offered a full-time educational programme, funded at NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) Band 4 level, gaining credits towards a Post-Graduate Diploma qualification, plus employment on successful completion of training, with a starting salary projected to be on the NHS Band 5 scale. These posts will cover the Shropshire &amp; Telford Wrekin area and be based within Shropshire &amp; Telford &amp; Wrekin</p>
<p>All applicants must demonstrate in their application the ability to work at degree level or have an equivalent level of relevant experience, with a proven record of previous learning or formal study in child development, wellbeing or mental health. Further to that experience of working with children and young people and an understanding of the educational system in England is highly desirable.</p>
<p>The training programme for this post starts Jan 2026, is 12 months in duration and consists of academic and supervised practice learning across mental health services and educational settings, such as primary and secondary schools, Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and further education colleges.</p>
<p>Delivery of the programme will be provided through a combination of in-person learning, independent self-guided study days and experience gained in education wellbeing and mainstream mental health services.</p>

  <p>Main duties of the job </p> <ul>  <li>The trainee Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) roles are funded through the government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people<em>.</em></li>  <li>You will be trained to assess and support children and young people (C&amp;YP) with common mental health difficulties, particularly mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety, depression and behavioural difficulties.</li>  <li>You will offer a range of low intensity interventions, 1-1 or in groups, primarily in a school or college setting that are based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and guided self-help.</li>  <li>You will also have the opportunity to develop whole school approaches in collaboration with educational staff and through co-production with children, young people and carers. This focuses on promotion of mental health and wellbeing through delivery of group interventions, assemblies etc.</li>  <li>The training programme for this post starts in January 2026, is 12 months in duration and will consist of academic and supervised practice.   <p>An opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or an OT to join the Swindon Recovery Team at Chatsworth House, Swindon, Wiltshire. Candidates must be a part of professional registered body, have an experience of working with variety of mental health needs and have a passion for developing cutting edge and evidence based practice.</p>
<p>The role focuses is on providing effective interventions and treatments to people with severe and enduring mental health needs, and their carers. This involves enabling and assisting service-users to meet daily health, social care and wellbeing needs.   <p>The CYP IAPT Recruit to Train programme involves both academic learning, coursework and supervised clinical practice. Alongside this, the post holder will work with colleagues in a specialist CFHD pathway, building relationships and wider skills in working children and young people with complex emotional and mental health needs in the community. This will include evidence-based assessment and outcome-monitored interventions in conjunction with the training. There will also be opportunities to engage in Participation and service development as well as contributing to service delivery within the team as required.</p><p>Post holders will be employees of CFHD on a substantive contract and also enrolled on a Postgraduate Diploma course with Exeter University. It is essential that applicants are able to balance a busy work and study schedule. As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level and be prepared to work towards their studies outside of identified study time.   <p>The N&amp;S CAMHS Adolescent At-risk &amp; Forensic Service (AAFS) is a national and specialist service within the South London &amp; Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. CAMHS Specialist Practitioner Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are pleased to offer this Associate Psychological Practitioner (APP)/Mental Health wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) post within specialist eating disorder services. The post is based at Harvey House, Lancaster and working from Kendal and Barrow which are the bases for the Bay Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service which covers Lancashire and South Cumbria and has close links with our other locality teams based in the Bay (Lancaster and South Cumbria), Fylde Coast, East and West Lancashire providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people who have an eating disorder. You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a passion for working with people who have eating disorders including psychological therapists, systemic family therapist, specialist mental health nurses, specialist dietitian and medical professionals.</p>
<p>You will be joining the team at an exciting time of real development as the service works together to improve services for people who have an eating disorder. You will benefit from working with an enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality NICE compliant psychological therapies to people of all ages with an eating disorder. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from either a psychologist or CBT therapist.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The service is committed to training and development of staff and you would be supported to access training in eating disorder specific CBT models, if required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver low intensity CBT interventions mainly focused on the eating disorder. Interventions will be offered in both 1:1 and group formats.</p>
<p>Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified Associate Psychological Practitioners, who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma Associate Psychological Practitioner (PGDip APP) and Mental Health wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) additional training.</p>

We are looking for an experienced &amp; enthusiastic Education Mental Health Practitioner/Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.</p> <p>Youwill continue to build on the fantastic work carried out within your allocated schools. The post is based at Pendle House, Nelson, East Lancashire Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service which covers Lancashire and South Cumbria and has close links with our other locality teams based in the Bay (Lancaster and South Cumbria), Fylde Coast, Central and West Lancashire providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people who have an eating disorder. You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a passion for working with people who have eating disorders including psychological therapists, systemic family therapist, specialist mental health nurses, specialist dietitian and medical professionals.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be joining the team at an exciting time of real development as the service works together to improve services for people who have an eating disorder. You will benefit from working with an enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality NICE compliant psychological therapies to people of all ages with an eating disorder. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from either a psychologist or CBT therapist. The service is committed to training and development of staff and you would be supported to access training in eating disorder specific CBT models, if required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver low intensity CBT interventions mainly focused on the eating disorder. Interventions will be offered in both 1:1 and group formats.</p>
<p>Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified Associate Psychological Practitioners, who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma Associate Psychological Practitioner (PGDip APP).</p>
<p>Please note: This post is subject to an enhanced DBS Clearance. As part of the pre-employment checks, successful candidates will be required to pay for their own DBS check at a cost of £55.50. Deductions will be taken from the first 3 months salary.</p>
