About the Role As a Trauma Informed Therapist, you will provide specialist 1:1 counselling to clients with complex trauma related to substance misuse. You will work within evidence based therapeutic frameworks, including EMDR, CBT, and other trauma informed models, supporting clients on their recovery journey. We are seeking a Trauma Informed Therapist to provide vital support through evidence based psychosocial interventions. You'll work directly with service users who present with complex needs and histories of trauma, helping them to rebuild their lives in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. They are currently looking for experienced Mental Health Support Workers to work within their Safe Haven sites in Woking and / or Guildford. Utilise motivational interviewing techniques and active listening skills in order to support individuals and create safety plans for those experiencing suicidal ideation. You will also provide a continual assessment of a persons needs regarding their mental health and work collaboratively with partner agency staff to ensure continuity of care.
