  <p>Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS) is advertising employment &amp; training positions in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy via a Post-Graduate Diploma at NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity level. Successful applicants will train as a CBT therapist at University of Sheffield whilst working as trainees CBT therapist with Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS). These roles are temporary positions available in the following employment organisations within LMWS. You will work with clients who present a range of common mental health problems at high intensity; step 3 within a stepped care model. You will need to have knowledge &amp; minimum 2 years experience of working with clients with a wide range of mental health conditions. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to help clients with their mental health.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Trainees attend the University of Sheffield on Tuesdays and Wednesdays where they are taught the CBT protocols required to treat clients effectively. For the remaining three days a week, trainees are employed to implement the taught CBT protocols with clients through divided time between face-to-face clinics based in Leeds and remote clinics either working from home or from services based in Leeds.

You will be competent and familiar with risk assessment and case management. You will need to be organised with your time management, work towards restrictive deadlines and have resilience in adapting to the changing needs of the service where the client is at the centre of therapuetic decision making.

You will need to commit to the academic and clinical requirements of the course. Progression through the training involves working towards a clinical caseload of 4 clients per day. In addition, this includes completing academic work outside of your clinical working hours such as in your own personal time. This expectation is set by NHSE training curriculum and BABCP requirements. You will be required to record your therapy with clients for the training requirements; and to share the recorded therapy for critique feedback through regular clinical and group supervision. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Greater Manchester Resilience Hub is a unique, all age, psychology led, trauma informed, partnership focused portfolio of services, established after the Manchester Arena Attack in 2017. The Critical Incident and Trauma Service (CITS) offers specialist trauma advice,consultation, assessments and interventions following major incidents and to GM health and care staff experiencing incidents, trauma and vicarious trauma at work. The offer is hosted by Pennine Care NHS FT is for systems, teams and individuals.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a senior therapeutic clinician within the CITS service you will:o Ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality specialist trauma service.o To work with people of all ages, including professionals, in GM impacted by major incidents and other traumatic events.o Offer specialist trauma informed consultation, assessment and NICEapproved therapeutic interventions for individuals and teams.o Support service users to access appropriate treatment, including making referrals on their behalf to mental health services across the UK;o Lead on range of interventions including 1:1; family interventions and group interventions.o Provide specialist advice and consultation to other professionals involved insupporting people affected by incidents.o Play an active role in supporting the development of the CITS service and the wider portfolio of the GM Resilience Hub in becoming a GM centre of excellence in the care of those experiencing psychological difficulties as a result of involvement in a major incident or other trauma;</p>

    <p> Support the Clinical Team Leader to ensure there are safe and effective care pathways in place for those impacted by incidents. Develop an understanding of universal and workplace psychological support offers for health, social care and other professionals involved in incidents. Promote and maintain partnerships and effective interfaces with otherprofessionals and agencies that work alongside mental health services insupporting those affected by incidents and trauma. Proactively involve stakeholders, respond to and support the resolutionof conflict between different stakeholders when this arises throughfacilitation and or other appropriate mechanisms. Undertake clinical reviews of screening information and other referralsreceived in the CITS service. Provide assessment and formulation of complex/high risk service users open to the CITS service. Take a lead on formulation and care planning for services users open to the CITS service. Provide specialist advice, guidance or consultation to team members and other professionals contributing directly to clients formulation and treatmentplans. Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individuals and provide advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and management of trauma symptoms. Utilise sound clinical knowledge and awareness of national guidance inrelation to trauma focussed interventions to deliver evidence based therapy to CITS service users. Lead on consultation, formulation and interventions for systems, managers and teams impacted by trauma in the workplace. Plan, lead on and deliver group interventions for CTS service users, witha focus on psycho-social interventions for trauma. Deliver support to teams affected by incidents in the workplace. Support the Clinical Team Leader in the planning and delivery of training events for other professionals working with those affected by major incidents. To offer and contribute to specialist advice, support, education and training toall members of this team and wider services as required. Be the senior clinician on home visits to families impacted by majorincidents, as required. Support the Clinical Team Leader in the development and maintenance of effective systems to monitor individuals for whom treatment is expedited with local providers.
