  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team supporting adults and young people and will take a lead role within the service, using the wide range of their clinical psychology skills, including:</p> <p> Specialist clinical assessment &amp; formulation</p> <p> Person-centred interventions (individual / group)</p> <p> Support to staff from other disciplines to undertake psychological interventions</p> <p> Care planning using a Positive Behavioural Support approach</p> <p> Facilitating team reflective practice</p> <p> Supervision and training for members of the psychology team and other professions</p> <p>Psychological input is highly valued by the MDT and there is an emphasis on close working with colleagues from psychiatry, nursing, speech &amp; language therapy, occupational therapy, music therapy and teaching.</p> <p>The SATS and CAMHS Psychological Services team are part of a wider Psychological Services team on the Brooklands site, which is awell-established and supportive service. Successful applicants will receive good quality supervision and support to further develop their skills and knowledge. </p> <p>The service has strong links with local clinical psychology training courses and regularly provides placements for trainee clinical psychologists, supervision for research, and teaching on the local courses. There are also strong links with Community Learning Disability and Intensive Support teams across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull. </p>

Reporting into the Counselling Services Manager, you will provide a high-quality telephone counselling service to clients considering or choosing an abortion, as well as those seeking post-abortion support.</p><p>You will offer brief, time-limited counselling to help clients navigate their decisions and emotions. This role involves assessing client suitability for BPAS counselling, making referrals to other services when necessary, and maintaining accurate and confidential client records.</p><p><em>This role is working remotely from home for 20 hours per week over Monday, Tuesday, and </em><em>Wednesdays, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. A detailed shift pattern can be found below.</em></p><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will hold a minimum Level 4 diploma in professional counselling, and be registered with BACP or an accredited NCPS registrant. You should have training in integrative modality and online/telephone counselling, with experience in short-term, non-directive counselling. You should be non-judgmental, friendly, a team player, and committed to delivering a client-led service.</p>
