The successful candidate will provide confidential counselling (within safeguarding guidelines)  to individual students and small groups, supporting their emotional wellbeing and helping them to overcome barriers to learning. This post is term time only role. The preferred working days are Monday - Wednesday, but Thursday is a possibility. </p><p>The successful candidate with be required to maintain accurate and confidential records in line with College policies and procedures. </p><p>The successful candidate will hold a counselling qualification at level 4 or above and be a member of a professional body such as the BACP. They will have an excellent understanding of child protection and safeguarding.  Experience of working with 16-19 year olds would be an advantage. As an integral and highly valued member of our multi-disciplinary team, the Peer Support Worker will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to service users, empowering them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process.Working collaboratively alongside service users, the Peer Support Worker builds on a person's ability, strengths and their links to social and community services. In the role you will work in partnership with multiple agencies in the community. Peer Support Workers engage with mental health service users to show empathy, share experience, inspire hope and promote recovery with the aim of assisting service users to gain and maintain independence in the community. The Peer Support Worker will assist service users in raising aspirations and developing personal goals, co-produce and co-facilitate groups (where possible) and increasing individual occupational performance and participation.</p>

<p>We have a superb opportunity for A fantastic opportunity for a qualified&nbsp;<strong>Occupational Health Nurse</strong>&nbsp;has arisen to cover face to face / immunisation appointments (both PAM and client site) in&nbsp;<strong>Brighton&nbsp;</strong>The role is based from our client sites as required and within an hours travel time from home. PAM Group provide Occupational Health services to a number of well known companies, brands &amp; local authorities across the UK.</p><p>Working hours are 8 hours per day. Full time (Mon to Fri) no weekends</p><p>You will have:</p><p><strong>An RGN with experience of delivering immunisations/ vaccinations.</strong></p><p><strong>Hold a valid NMC &amp; DBS no restrictions</strong></p><p><strong>Have a minimum of 6 months UK based work experience</strong></p><p><strong>Driving license &amp; access to a vehicle</strong></p><p>The role:</p><p>Immunisations and vaccinations experience essential. Health surveillance, phlebotomy – desirable as training can be given. Effective communicator with strong listening and empathetic skills as well as the ability to influence and engage with others. Have experience dealing with complex health issues. Effective Report Writing Skills. Great Communication skills. Good Organisational and time management skills.</p><p><strong>OH experience which may include:</strong></p><p>An understanding of immunisation schedules as well as experience of administering vaccinations. Venepuncture skills. Understanding of inoculation injuries. Health Surveillance eg audio/spirometry. Clinical, Clinical immunisation delivery, Venepuncture, Health Surveillance, Follow up test results, Administrative tasks using bespoke OH software</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong></p><p>£34,000 plus £2k car allowance, business mileage allowance, an extensive benefits package &amp; career progression opportunities</p><p><strong>How many Appointments each day?</strong>&nbsp;This is variable dependent on the client</p><p><strong>How the day tends to be structured?</strong>&nbsp;Usual time of clinics is 9-5 but this can be negotiable with the client and successful clinician. Half an hour for lunch per day.</p><p><strong>Who working with?</strong>&nbsp;Initial induction period and shadowing sessions will be arranged. Working within PAM clinics will allow for team working.
