			<p>Are you an experienced Senior Psychologist with experience in a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting? If so, join&nbsp;Ann House in Kendal and Gregory House in Workington. Both Ann House and Gregory House are&nbsp;Learning Disabilities and Autism services.</p>
You will support across two of our services: Gregory House in Workington and Ann House in Cumbria. You will work on either a permanent basis, spending 3 days per week at the closest service and 2 days at the other, or on a part-time basis at either service.



<p>As the Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and be requested to design and deliver training.</p>
<p>As a Lead Psychologist, you will have experience and knowledge in carrying a service user’s caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support their care plans.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>As a Lead Psychologist you will be:</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
    <li>Participating in the assessment of referrals, and to provide initial assessment service users referred to the service.</li>
    <li>Undertaking high quality direct (assessment &amp; therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions.</li>
    <li>Working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertake the assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi structured clinical methods.</li>
    <li>Formulating and implementing plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients’ mental health needs based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence based best practise.</li>
    <li>Being professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care.</li>
    <li>Maintaining high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance the HCPC Code of Conduct,&nbsp;professional guidelines&nbsp;and Company Policies and Procedures.</li>

<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you'll need:</strong></p>

    <li>To have BPS recognised psychology degrees</li>
    <li>Be HCPC registered</li>

<p>You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure people lead good and meaningful everyday lives, where they have choice and control, accessing mainstream services and facilities, engaging in work and training, in leisure opportunities, hobbies and areas of personal interest. Ann House encourages people to be as independent as possible with the long-term aim of people moving onto a more independent living setting.</p>

The role will be for a Peer supporter for the Memory and Later Life Services based at Lilyhall Business Centre in Workington.</p>   <p>The Peer Supporter role is a vital part of our plan to continually improve the service that we provide.
