The post is based in Adult Mental Health Services in the Inner City and East Bristol team, and the successful applicant will support the delivery of psychological interventions in the Assessment and Recovery Team.</p>
<p>We are looking for applicants with a particular interest in working with people with a broad range of complex and enduring mental health difficulties across the lifespan, including older adults who are served within our ageless service. We are particularly interested in candidates with special skills and experience in CBT for severe mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>In addition, the successful candidate will lead the organisation and development of our established Staff Support Debrief Service for the community teams in Bristol.</p>
<p>As well as working closely within the teams, you will receive excellent support and supervision from more senior and well-established CPI members. There will be opportunities for continuing professional development and development of innovative research projects.</p>

  <p>We currently have a permanent vacancy for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join a comprehensive rotation on a permanent basis. Rotations include surgery, medicine, older person's unit, orthopaedics, acute stroke and hospital at home with a focus on acute rehabilitation, reduction of patient deconditioning and readying patients for discharge. Each rotation has its own in-service training sessions and competencies.</p> <p>In the summer of 2019 we opened the doors to the new Therapies and RNHRD (Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases) department which is home to state of the art equipment, gym, hydrotherapy pool and ADL suite.The Therapies department is forward thinking with new projects and has monthly CPD (continuing professional development) sessions for the whole of Therapies. </p> <p>This post is suitable for newly qualified Occupational therapists, or for therapists with some experience who would like to develop further in the above areas or gain experience in the acute setting.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post provides Occupational Therapy assessments and treatment to adult inpatients on designated acute wards at the Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust and in the surrounding community setting. The majority of the clinical work is delivered within the hospital but our Hospital at Home service provides therapy input out in the community at patients residence.</p>
<p>The 6 month rotations include staff gaining clinical experience in orthopaedics/ acute medicine / acute surgery/ acute stroke/ older people's unit and community. The rotations are aimed at developing staff's clinical assessment skills, case load management, acute rehab skills, team working and discharge planning which will include risk management of patients with a variety of diagnosis, providing opportunity for staff to gain sufficient evidence to demonstrate their competencies. </p>
<p>The Band 5 post holder will be expected to demonstrate a progression in their ability to produce clear clinical reasoning for their interventions based on national guidelines or evidence based practice.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to join our specialist team within the Bristol Complex Psychological Interventions Service (CPI). The role is based in the South Bristol Assessment and Recovery Team at Petherton Resource Centre--a vibrant, multidisciplinary team where developing and evaluating 1:1 and group interventions for a wide range of secondary mental health presentations is central.</p> <p>CPI, part of Bristol Mental Health, comprises of multidisciplinary professions and offers a range of activities to support psychologically informed care within the secondary mental health service. The team also provides supervision and training to partner organisations. CPI offers complex assessment, formulation, and a wide range of therapies including specialist CBT and third wave approaches, CAT, Psychotherapy, Art Psychotherapies, Family Therapy, MBT, and DBT. Therapy is delivered in both individual and group formats.</p> <p>The successful candidate will provide specialist assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation, as well as staff training, supervision, consultation and support. Applicants should be familiar with current evidence-based interventions and able to demonstrate outcomes.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li> <p>To fulfil a comprehensive role as a Clinical Psychologist or appropriate trained Psychological Practitioner (Counselling Psychologist, Psychological Therapist, Psychotherapist, Arts Psychotherapist) within the South Assessment and Recovery team.</p> </li>  <li> <p>To assess and treat a specialist workload of clients and maintain associated records.</p> </li>  <li> <p>To participate in Continued Professional Development and other developmental activities.</p> </li>  <li> <p>To be part of the South Bristol DBT Team (training will be provided if necessary).</p> </li>  <li> <p>To undertake Research and Development and clinical audit.</p> </li>  <li> <p>To clinically supervise trainees, assistants and team members.</p> </li>  <li> <p>To provide consultation and training to the South Bristol Assessment and Recovery Team.</p> </li> </ul>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist to join our well-establishedComplex Psychological Interventions (CPI) Service in Bristol.   <p>For this role you will be working with the The Complex Psychological Interventions Service (CPI). Staff are located in a central hub (at Callington Road Hospital), as well as at community mental health team bases. CPI provide a range of services directly to people who use our service.   <p><strong>The Primary Care Complex Emotional Needs Service</strong> is brief psychological service aimed at improving the lives of people who may struggle with emotional and relational difficulties associated with a diagnosis of personality disorder.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an experienced or newly qualified clinician to work across the Central Bristol Crisis Team.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Various locations within Central Bristol.</p> <p>The post will be based in the Central Bristol Community Mental Health team base.</p> <p>The successful applicant will provide specialist assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation, alongside staff training, supervision, consultation, advice and support to the teams they are working within.</p> <p>The Bristol Crisis Service provides a rapid response to people in acute mental health crisis, offering assessment and immediate intervention and treatment within a person's home or a community setting.</p> <p>Working into the Crisis team will provide an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in working psychologically with people experiencing acute mental health crises.
