  <p>We are looking for a Band 6 Clinical Practitioner - Eating Disorders, to join the North Somerset CAMHS Eating Disorder Team.</p> <p>The team is a rated by its staff as very supportive and offers good development opportunities and has strong historic links to Exeter University.</p> <p>You will be working in North Somerset, with Bases at The Barn Clevedon and in Weston Super Mare. This post entails travelling to meet the requirements of the role, therefore a driving license and access to a car is essential.</p> <p>You will be working with CYP with a range of eating difficulties and other comorbidities due to their eating. Our aim is to support young people, alongside their families and carers, to recover.</p> <p>The North Somerset CAMHS ED team is a busy thriving CAMHS team that is passionate about delivering highly effective and accessible services to the young people and families of North Somerset.</p> <p>The team is a well established multi disciplinary team offering evidence based interventions. The team are a diverse team and are committed to staff development and staff well being with excellent supervision and CPD opportunities. We offer established specialist clinics such as family therapy, specialist eating disorder clinics alongside staff working autonomously holding their own caseload. We have regular reflective groups and process groups to support with the clinical work.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>Your role will involve providing triage, assessment, and treatment to support young people and their families/carers who present with a range of eating disorders and co-morbidities.</strong></p>
<p>The team offers a variety of treatment approaches, including group-based interventions, family therapy, and individual treatments.</p>
<p>You will work collaboratively with core CAMHS clinicians, the Eating Disorder Home Treatment Team, and the medical team at The Seashore Centre.</p>

<p>The successful candidate will work within the Children in Care service alongside social workers, foster carers, and other health professionals. This role involves addressing the mental health and emotional well-being of children in care through consultation, training, and direct work across four days. The remaining day will be based within the Community CAMHS Team, holding a small caseload and supporting the team to deliver effective interventions for children in care.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role involves delivering clinical expertise within specialist community services, aligned to a defined local care pathway serving a specific population--children who are looked after or under Special Guardianship Orders (SGO), referred by North Somerset CYPS.</p>
<p>The role also includes delivering training programmes to foster carers, social workers, and CAMHS clinicians to enhance their understanding of the impact of trauma on children in care. In addition to core clinical psychology skills, the successful candidate will have experience working with children in care and possess strong knowledge and skills in trauma-informed practices.</p>
<p>Whilst working closely with the local authority, clinical supervision and CPD will be provided through AWP CAMHS, which has a strong clinical psychology team and well-developed links with the University of Bath.</p>

  <p>We are very excited to be able to offer a full-time senior support worker post covering the Cirencester Recovery team based at Cirencester Memorial Centre &amp; Stroud Recovery Team based at Weavers Croft. The role will involve working across these two sites.</p> <p>The post would mainly involve active participation and responsibility in working within the well-established South Clozapine clinic which serves patients prescribed this medication who live in the South locality and lead responsibility for a defined caseload of Recovery patients with suitable risk and complexity, mainly who access the clinic.     <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience of working with adults of Working Age and supporting individuals with Enduring Mental Health problems.</p> <p>Alongside regular supervision and peer meetings you will have the opportunity to attend a variety of training courses and practice enhancement to build on your portfolio of continual professional development.</p> <p>Community Mental Health Services are undergoing significant transformation in the way we work together as part of the national agenda, and there are exciting changes ahead within Cirencester Recovery Team which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of.</p> <p>We provide a Multi-professional preceptorship programme that is aligned to the National Preceptorship Framework for Nursing and have been awarded the Interim quality mark from NHS England. Our programme is provided to all Newly Qualified; Nurses, Nursing Associates, Internationally Educated Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and Return to Practice Practitioners. In addition to the programme we also offer all preceptees the opportunity of enrolling and completing the level 7 (Masters) 15 credit validated module Preceptorship for Healthcare (AP7026).</p> <p>Newly qualified Social Workers are offered the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment programme (ASYE) which is similar to a preceptorship programme.</p> <p><em>This role is not eligible for sponsorship as per the Governments UK VISA and Immigration Rules and Regulations.
