  <p>We are looking for 1 committed practitioner who would like to further their studies to train with South West CYP IAPT. We are offering three places to study place on their CBT for Depression and Anxiety programme (PGDIP). It is aimed at staff who work with a range of presentations in their daily practice and would equip you with a BABCP-accredited Postgraduate Diploma. The training is fully funded and we would anticipate you being offered a substantive contract with community CAMHS on successful completion.</p>
<p>The course runs for one year, between January and December. This training course is funded by HEE, you would be studying at the University of Exeter 2 days a week and working in a children's mental health service 2-3 days per week.</p>
<p>'<strong>KSA</strong>' stands for 'Knowledge Skills and Attitude' and involves completing a portfolio throughout the year to show how your current skills match the level necessary for a core profession. To be eligible for the KSA route you would need to have a minimum of 2 years' relevant full-time equivalent therapeutic experience in a mental health setting. <p>This is a training role within the Child and Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (CYP-IAPT). The post-holder will work within Cornwall CAMHS service at Cornwall Partnership Trust, providing interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role at the University of Exeter.</p>
<p>This intensive training post will equip the post holder to provide interventions based on CYP-IAPT core principles and an evidence based intervention consistent with their training course. The post- holder would be expected to attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post and continue to work within the CAMHS service on qualification.</p>
<p>Graduates of any other HEE funded course need to be 2 years post graduation to be eligible to apply.</p>
<p>The course is suitable for anyone who already has a foundation in CBT skills. You would need to have:</p>
<p>Level 6 qualification, and a core profession recognised by BABCP.</p>
<p>OR</p>
<p>Eligibility to complete the course via the KSA route. Level 6 qualification is usually an undergraduate degree or equivalent.</p>

  <p>Dorset CAMHS is recruiting a Lead Clinician for a fixed term period of 6 months to support the expansion of the Mental Health in Schools Support Team based in North &amp; East Dorset.</p> <p>The Mental Health Support Teams are part of an exciting trailblazer project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners, withthe aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. There is a specific focus on developing moreaccess to helping and improving the general culture of emotional support within all primary and secondary schools including special educationalprovisions and Pupil Referral Units.</p> <p>We are looking for a confident professional with a demonstrable track record of providing quality evidenced based interventions. You will have significant experience of supervising clinicians and be able to evidence operational leadership skills and abilities. There will be opportunities to carry a small caseload where you would provide comprehensive assessments, risk management and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties.</p> <p><strong>This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only.   <p>The Intensive Psychological Therapies Service is a forward thinking, dynamic group treatment service for people with complex trauma and long-standing interpersonal difficulties. Our therapies include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).</p>
<p>We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic professional to join our DBT team for 22.5 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 5pm each day. Applicants must have a recognised qualification in one of the core mental health professions e.g. psychology, psychiatric nursing, social work or occupational therapy, and previous experience in mental health. Experience of DBT is essential.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Under the direction of the Head of IPTS, to be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, psychological therapy assessment and specialist intervention service, and to recommend in the allocation of patients to appropriate interventions. To provide peer clinical supervision to other staff as directed. In keeping with NIMHE Personality Disorder guidelines (2003), the emphasis of the IPTS will be on time-limited, focused and evidence-based interventions.</p>

  <p>We are seeking an experienced and dynamic psychologist to work across two innovative services in Wiltshire. This role offers the chance to develop your leadership skills by supporting a growing brief psychological intervention service as well as working within a busy MDT providing assessment, formulation, and brief interventions for a wide range of mental health needs.</p> <p><strong>The Primary Care Complex Emotional Needs Service</strong> (PC CEN) delivers brief psychological support for individuals with emotional and relational difficulties, associated with personality disorder.With additional investment the service will expand to also offer intervention to people with complex PTSD who may fall between the gap between primary and secondary MH services.</p> <p><strong>The Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS) </strong>provides mental health triage, assessment, brief interventions, advice, and signposting for diverse mental health issues.</p>

  <p>This role operates across both the PC CEN Service and the Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS), covering South Wiltshire. While your formal line management will sit within the PC CEN Service, you will also maintain close links with the Wiltshire Psychological Therapies Service (PTS).</p>

  <p>Dorset Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHSTs) are seeking a Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner/Trainee Supervisor (Band 6) for our team based in the North &amp; East Dorset area. You will be required to attend Exeter University to complete the training for this post from January 2025 on a part time basis over two years.</p> <p>The Mental Health Support Teams work with children and young people (and their families) who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs, within education settings.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior wellbeing and supervising practitioner who is passionate about children's mental health.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will help to oversee the delivery of the clinical work undertaken by the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) within the team, both those in training and those who are already qualified, ensuring that Low Intensity CBT interventions are used effectively to support children and young people's mental wellbeing. You will provide clinical supervision and leadership to more junior colleagues and will be involved with developing clinical operational processes. The team also works with education settings to help them to implement a whole school approach to good emotional wellbeing. This can include for example consultation, training and small and large group work to promote good emotional health for all. </p> <p>You will also be expected to hold a clinical caseload and to use your newly learnt knowledge to deliver short term evidence based interventions to children, families and young people whose needs are more complex in nature.</p> <p><strong>Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.   <p>We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Peer Specialists ready to use their personal journey to inspire hope and guide others through self-defined mental health crisis.</p> <p>The Retreats - based in Bournemouth and Weymouth (subject to final arrangements in a move of current base) offer an open access crisis mental health service every evening; providing a welcoming, safe space for people to come and receive support, without referral or judgement.</p> <p>The partnership between lived and clinical experience is fundamental to the ethos and values of the Retreats, and you will work alongside Registered Practitioners in this role. As a vital member of our team, you will provide practical support and peer-led guidance to help visitors and their support networks regain control and hope while navigating challenging moments and moving forward in their recovery. By sharing your lived experience, you will foster trust, hope and promote self-determination.</p> <p>You'll receive comprehensive induction and specialist training, including trauma-informed care and collaborative working practices, to ensure you can use your experience to create real, lasting impact.</p> <p><strong>Full and part time hours are available (minimum 15 hours or 2 shifts per week). All team members able to develop a Lead EP Role in an area of special interest. We have strong links with universities and training providers in the region and use these connections to support our evidence-based practice. We have two secondments within our team to tutor roles within the EP training course at Southampton University.</p> <p>Wellbeing, person-centredness and co-production are central priorities, both within the EPS team and across BCP Council. In addition to benefitting from regular opportunities for connection, collaboration, support and supervision (both individually and as part of a peer group), our team enjoy excellent and dedicated administrative support, a laptop and smartphone, and access to a wide set of tools, resources and CPD opportunities. BCP offers flexible working arrangements and hybrid virtual working options for remote working where practical. Schools can be matched to provide optimal efficiency for travel and there is accessible reduced-price city-centre parking.</p> <p>You may be able to access a significant relocation package of up to £8,000. We have been in a process of collective bargaining since 2019 and have positively worked forward to reach an agreed position with the unions for the new contractual offer.
