<p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>

    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
    <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>
    <li>A placement is an excellent stepping stone into a job opportunity and career with Place2Be, over&nbsp;⅔&nbsp;of our clinical staff were once Counsellors on Placement.</li>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the Early Intervention Prevention and Promotion Service within the CAMH Service joining the established Local Integrated Family Team (LIFT), a multi-disciplinary, integrated partnership, successfully bringing together Conwy and Denbighshire County Councils and the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) services. LIFT works with children of all ages, families and wider systems to understand behaviours that challenge within the home. Whilst employed through Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB), you will be embedded within the LIFT team contributing to the values of the service, which puts families at the heart. Using a compassionate bio-psycho-social understanding of challenging behaviour, LIFT works with the 'missing middle', providing assessment and intervention where universal interventions have been exceeded, and where difficulties do not meet thresholds for statutory services.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The team are looking for an enthusiastic Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to work alongside the LIFT Team Manager and other specialists to support the service to meet the team's aims and uphold its values and purpose. The successful candidate will coordinate and provide a Family Therapy service within LIFT team, as part of the wider Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) Early Intervention, Prevention and Promotion (EIPP) service, covering the areas of Conwy and Denbighshire. Newly qualified psychotherapists, and those due to qualify as Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, would be welcome to apply, with opportunities for further professional development supported.</p> <p>An understanding of child development and systemic factors which contribute to healthy child- parent relationships are desirable, along with any experience of using evidence based and practice-based evidence, to deliver interventions within services would be valued.</p> <p>The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and /or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.</p>

Working alongside our experienced team and valued partners, you'll support parents with all aspects of infant feeding - from pregnancy through to introducing solid foods. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, empathetic, and motivated by making a difference to families' lives. Main duties of the role: You'll provide information, encouragement and support on infant feeding through 1-1 contact, phone support, home visits and group sessions.</p>

  <p>You'll also be involved in borough-wide promotion of responsive and evidence-based infant feeding practices. While experience is welcome, it's your passion for supporting families, ability to build trust, and confidence delivering sessions that will make you stand out. We'll provide full training, and the role includes use of IT systems and digital tools to help us connect with local families. </p> <p>Our service operates: Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm Weekends and Bank Holidays, 10am-4pm.     <p>The BaNES MHST is a small and supportive team, working in approximately 77% of schools in B&amp;NES. The team comprises 12 EMHPs/CWPs, a Specialist SEN EMHP, three other Supervisors, a Deputy Manager, Clinical Psychologists, and a Clinical Manager. In your role, you will supervise EMHPs/CWPs, serve as a lead contact for our schools, undertake pre-referral consultations, and manage a caseload.</p> <p>You will receive regular case management supervision, clinical skills supervision, and supervision of supervision. You will work closely with the Deputy Team Manager and Clinical Team Manager and be part of the BaNES MHST leadership team. As a continually evolving and developing service, you will be at the forefront of our service's development.</p> <p>The B&amp;NES MHST collaborates closely with the neighbouring MHST in Wiltshire. The post holder will be part of a cohort of 11 supervisors across both teams.</p> <p>We are highly invested in our staff and will work with you to identify any learning and development needs, supporting and developing your passions and interests.</p> <p>This role within CAMHS aims to develop the role of EMHPs in the B&amp;NES MHST.       <p>The BaNES MHST is a small and supportive team, working in approximately 77% of schools in B&amp;NES. The team comprises 12 EMHPs/CWPs, a Specialist SEN EMHP, three other Supervisors, a Deputy Manager, Clinical Psychologists, and a Clinical Manager. In your role, you will supervise EMHPs/CWPs, serve as a lead contact for our schools, undertake pre-referral consultations, and manage a caseload.</p> <p>You will receive regular case management supervision, clinical skills supervision, and supervision of supervision. You will work closely with the Deputy Team Manager and Clinical Team Manager and be part of the BaNES MHST leadership team. As a continually evolving and developing service, you will be at the forefront of our service's development.</p> <p>The B&amp;NES MHST collaborates closely with the neighbouring MHST in Wiltshire. The post holder will be part of a cohort of 11 supervisors across both teams.</p> <p>We are highly invested in our staff and will work with you to identify any learning and development needs, supporting and developing your passions and interests.</p> <p>This role within CAMHS aims to develop the role of EMHPs in the B&amp;NES MHST. It represents an opportunity for clinicians with knowledge and experience in using evidence-based low-intensity interventions to advance their careers and support the development of this new, exciting service for young people and their families.</p> <p>You will develop and support EMHPs in providing guided self-help, low-intensity, brief, evidence-based CBT, and delivering groups and training. You will work closely with senior colleagues to screen and triage all referrals. The role will also involve identifying areas of need within the new teams, helping to develop the service, and creating quality improvement plans in collaboration with senior colleagues.
