seeking a qualified EMHP to join our fantastic team. </p><p></p><p>The WEST team are a forward thinking,
supportive &amp; hardworking team that is continuously developing as
individuals and a service. We provide high quality, evidence-based CBT interventions
to Children &amp; Young People in Schools and focus on a Whole School Approach
to make the schools we work with a mentally healthy environment for CYP.</p><p>We will provide you with

well as flexibility and a wealth of support, making the WEST environment a great

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are a busy team,
covering 49 schools and colleges in Herefordshire.
You will be delivering low intensity CBT interventions (1:1 or group) in your
aligned schools as well as delivering Whole School Approach activities, keeping
the CYP at the heart of everything you do.</p><p>Under the support of
operational lead, clinical lead &amp; senior practitioners you will manage a
caseload of patients and complete assessments, care plans &amp; other relevant
documentation whilst maintaining the fidelity of the low intensity CBT model.</p><p>An understanding of
risk management &amp; safeguarding is imperative for this role, and you will be
supported with managing this within the team. </p><p>You will also receive
regular case management &amp; clinical skills supervision to support you
clinically as well as participate in MDT/screening meetings.</p><p>You will work closely
with families, school staff &amp; other professions and at times deliver
consultations &amp; signposting advice to other agencies. Thus, strong
interpersonal skills are key.</p>

  <p><strong>This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation.     <p>For more information on the Job Description and Responsibilities please click the link below.</p><p><strong>More detail about the role</strong></p><p>The post holder will be part of the children and young peoples therapy service based at the Devon and Cornwall sexual assault referral centre (SARC) delivering evidence-based trauma therapy to young people aged 8-17, who are referred to SARC following sexual abuse or assault.</p><p>Professionally they will work in a non-judgemental and empathetic service and within the ethical framework of their professional / registering body (e.g. HPCP; BACP; UKCP, BABCP)</p><p>The purpose of this post is to add to the provision of evidence-based therapies for children and young people who have been sexually abused and/or assaulted, either recently or historically.</p><p>The post holder will have extensive clinical knowledge of highly complex psychotherapy and sexual trauma counselling and have significant input into the delivery of specialist counselling services delivered to children and young people.</p><p>This requires the ability to assess for post-traumatic stress disorder and discuss the implications of this and the NICE guidelines recommended treatment for PTSD (including following sexual trauma) with children, young people and their parents/ carers.</p><p>The post holder will able to implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and young people, including trauma-focused CBT, supported by the service lead.</p><p>The post holder will carry a clinical caseload and provide psychological therapies / counselling to meet client needs, taking into account the resources available within the service.</p><p>Where necessary, the post holder will be able to demonstrate the ability to be creative, innovative and adaptable in the delivery of evidence-based therapies in order to best meet the individual need of the young person, whilst maintaining fidelity to the therapeutic model.</p><p>Some experience in delivering therapy to neuro-diverse children and young people and their parents/carers is also desirable.</p><p>The post holder will need experience in providing time-limited therapy for clients with a wide range of difficulties e.g. trauma and relationship issues.</p><p>The post holder will prioritise, assess, plan evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of highly complex care to an agreed and expected professional standard and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team.</p><p>The post holder will receive regular professional management and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and professional practice guidelines as set out by their professional body.       <p>For more information on the Job Description and Responsibilities please click the link below.</p><p><strong>More detail about the role</strong></p><p>The post holder will be part of the children and young peoples therapy service based at the Devon and Cornwall sexual assault referral centre (SARC) delivering evidence-based trauma therapy to young people aged 8-17, who are referred to SARC following sexual abuse or assault.</p><p>Professionally they will work in a non-judgemental and empathetic service and within the ethical framework of their professional / registering body (e.g. HPCP; BACP; UKCP, BABCP)</p><p>The purpose of this post is to add to the provision of evidence-based therapies for children and young people who have been sexually abused and/or assaulted, either recently or historically.</p><p>The post holder will have extensive clinical knowledge of highly complex psychotherapy and sexual trauma counselling and have significant input into the delivery of specialist counselling services delivered to children and young people.</p><p>This requires the ability to assess for post-traumatic stress disorder and discuss the implications of this and the NICE guidelines recommended treatment for PTSD (including following sexual trauma) with children, young people and their parents/ carers.</p><p>The post holder will able to implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and young people, including trauma-focused CBT, supported by the service lead.</p><p>The post holder will carry a clinical caseload and provide psychological therapies / counselling to meet client needs, taking into account the resources available within the service.</p><p>Where necessary, the post holder will be able to demonstrate the ability to be creative, innovative and adaptable in the delivery of evidence-based therapies in order to best meet the individual need of the young person, whilst maintaining fidelity to the therapeutic model.</p><p>Some experience in delivering therapy to neuro-diverse children and young people and their parents/carers is also desirable.</p><p>The post holder will need experience in providing time-limited therapy for clients with a wide range of difficulties e.g. trauma and relationship issues.</p><p>The post holder will prioritise, assess, plan evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of highly complex care to an agreed and expected professional standard and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team.</p><p>The post holder will receive regular professional management and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and professional practice guidelines as set out by their professional body.   <p>We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to join our dynamic and forward thinking team at Cygnet Hospital Beckton. 
You will be expected to work full-time, working 38.5 hours a week, working days and nights on a rota basis. (shift times 7:30am to 8:00pm; 7:30pm to 8:00am).

Hooper Ward is our 13 bed acute mental health service for women. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for individuals who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.
New Dawn Ward is our 18 bed specialist Tier 4 Personality Disorder service. Women can be admitted to New Dawn if they have a diagnosis of personality disorder, exhibit self-harming behaviour and are able to accept the need for help. Service users can be informal or detained under the Mental Health Act.
Upping Ward is our 15 bed intensive Support Service for women with a diagnosis of personality disorder and complex mental health needs. The service pathway provides a robust programme of care for women with challenging high risk behaviour who experience difficulties with engagement with therapeutic programmes. We aim to meet the needs of these women, who may have had previous inappropriate placements, in a less restrictive setting.</p>

Service users can be informal or detained under the Mental Health Act.</p><p><b>Upping Ward </b>is our 15 bed intensive Support Service for women with a diagnosis of personality disorder and complex mental health needs.   <p>You would be joining a comprehensive and dynamic CAMH service, delivering a substantial, stepped model of care following the needs-led i-Thrive framework. This is a post within an established Mental Health Support Team in Luton. Your role will help to develop and deliver a wide range of interventions, projects and system changes, with the aim of the whole school and whole community approaches supporting young people's mental health. In addition to providing comprehensive consultation, assessment, risk management and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties in schools, the post-holder will also clinically supervise colleagues. There may be a possibility of supervisor training at Reading University, which we would strongly encourage the post-holder to take up.</p> <p>We offer an exciting and a dynamic environment, where your ideas and career development will be valued. You will be supported directly by a senior colleague, and we will develop the service together. You will be supported by regular, separate clinical and management supervision sessions, access to a variety of CPD sessions, and an annual performance appraisal.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for a confident CAMHS professional with a demonstrable track record, within CAMHS, of providing good quality, evidence-based interventions and improving service quality. You will be a Mental Health Nurse, Systemic Family Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Art Psychotherapist, Social Worker, Child Psychotherapist, CBT Therapist, Counsellor or Occupational Therapist, with the requisite professional registration. We welcome applicants who have experience of working or living in Central Bedfordshire or Luton.</p> <p>There is a national focus on increasing the reach of Mental Health Support Teams, with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. The recently published NHS 10 Year Plan has an ambition to increase MHSTs' coverage to all schools by 2030. There is a specific focus on developing more access to help and aiding and improving the general culture of emotional support within all primary and secondary schools, including special educational provisions and PRUs. Working alongside community partners, the Mental Health Support Team will be fully integrated with community CAMHS and educational settings.</p>

  <p><strong>Band 8a full time post, with Band 7 - 8a preceptorship opportunities available</strong></p> <p>This post offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic psychologist within the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Community Learning Disability Team, part of the wider North Yorkshire, York &amp; Selby Learning Disability Service.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist who is passionate about working with people with learning disabilities. The vacancy is open to an existing Band 8A psychologist or a Band 7psychologist wishing to progress in their career. We will also consider offering a preceptorship option for a newly or recently qualified clinical or counselling psychologist who may not yet meet the essential criteria; to progress from a band 7 into the band 8a position. </p> <p>The post offers many excitingdevelopmental and creative opportunities.</p> <p>The post holder will have a key role in providing psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to service users, their families, carers, and staff teams. This may be through direct therapeutic support using various adapted psychological approaches or indirect work with a service user's support system using psychologically informed thinking.</p> <p>An additional element to this role is offering neuropsychological assessments to service users, alongside reflective practice, consultation, and supervision. There are excellent opportunities for peer support/ supervision, CPD, training, research, and audit withinthe wider trust and psychological professions network.</p> <p>We are very keen to support practitioners obtain further professional training with relevance to the service (e.g., EMDR; Flash; CBT; CAT; PBS; Systemic Family Therapy, etc). You will be working in an area of natural beauty across the North Yorkshire coast and North York Moors.
