SEN Behaviour Analyst - Graduate

Role: Applied Behaviour Analyst Location: York Salary: 41,463 per annum Contract Type: Full-time Tripod Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced Applied Behaviour Analyst to join the innovative team. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking vision for a rehabilitative and restorative environment, transforming the lives of individuals in custody. About the Role In this psychology-based discipline, you will use principles of learning and behaviour to support individuals in making meaningful, measurable changes. This involves: <ul> <li>Developing and implementing evidence-based interventions.</li> <li>Reducing challenging behaviours, such as violence, self-harm, or disruptive behaviours.</li> <li>Enabling prisoners to engage with the prison regime and unlock their potential.</li> <li>Working collaboratively with the psychology team to guide and support operational staff.</li> </ul> Your expertise will contribute to a safer, more supportive environment that empowers both staff and prisoners, aligning with the vision of restoration and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Identify and assess behavioural challenges and develop strategies to address them.</li> <li>Create support plans that enable positive behavioural changes.</li> <li>Train and upskill staff to implement these plans effectively.</li> <li>Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and management of complex behaviours.</li> <li>Support prisoners and staff in understanding the functionality of behaviour and its impact on rehabilitation.</li> </ul> Person Specification <ul> <li>Qualifications:</li> <li>Registered and certified with UK-SBA or BCBA.</li> <li>MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Behaviour Analysis and Therapy.</li> <li>Completion of UK-SBA Supervision and Competence Standards (preferred).</li> <li>Experience:</li> <li>Relevant experience in custodial, secure, or challenging behaviour settings.</li> <li>Proven ability to develop support plans and work within multidisciplinary teams.</li> <li>Skills:</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Proactive, with expertise in risk assessment and staff training.</li> <li>Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).</li> </ul> How to Apply If you have the relevant experience for this role, please click "Apply Now" to submit your CV.
