<p>Are you ready to deliver exceptional psychiatric care in a clinical setting? Join our dedicated team at St Neots as the Associate Specialist Doctor and play a key role in providing high-quality care to service users with complex mental health needs.</p>
<p>Working under the direction and supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist, you will undertake psychiatric and external assessments for service users referred to the unit, ensuring the appropriate level of care is provided. You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive Care Programmes tailored to individual needs.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will include preparing discharge summaries, reports and documentation for CPA meetings, as well as First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers’ hearings. You will arrange and review clinical tests and investigations, take responsibility for chasing results and act promptly on findings. <p>You will participate in learning activities, supervision and Clinical Governance initiatives, contributing to audits, research and teaching. Delivering staff training relevant to the service user group and supporting service development will also form part of your remit. To ensure continuity of care, you will work effectively with colleagues to maintain medical cover at all times, including participation in the on-call rota and providing prospective cover for other specialty doctors during leave periods.</p>
<p><strong>As an Associate Specialist Doctor, you will:</strong></p>

<p>CAS is a number of Mental Health Support Team (MHST) established following the government Green Paper: Transforming Children &amp; Young People's Mental Health Provision. The service is undergoing expansion and restructuring.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The three core functions of a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are:</p>
<ol>
<li>Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people (CYP) with mild-to-moderate mental health problems.</li>
<li>Supporting the senior mental health lead in each education setting to introduce, develop and deliver the whole school/college approach.</li>
<li>Giving timely advice to school and college staff, and liaising with external specialist services, to help CYP to get the right support and stay in education.</li>
</ol>
<p>The role involves delivering all three MHST functions. The role involves providing clinical supervision and line management to practitioners within the team, holding a small caseload of clinical work (based on the postholder's training and interests), acting as a senior link supporting school leads to develop their whole school approach to wellbeing, project work, other tasks as/when required.</p>

  <p>We are looking to recruit a full-time Senior Clinical Psychologist (or equivalent) or a more recently qualified Clinical Psychologist seeking a preceptorship role to join the south in-patient service for older people within Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT).   <p>We are recruiting a <strong>part-time (30 hours per week) substantive Band 7 CAMHS Clinician</strong>to join the <strong>Adolescent Mental Health Team (AMHT)</strong>within <strong>ELFT South Bedfordshire CAMHS</strong>, based in Luton. This is a community-focused role providing a highly specialist mental health service to children, young people, and their families presenting with complex mental health needs.</p> <p>As part of the ELFT AMHT, the post holder will deliver comprehensive specialist assessments and formulation-driven treatment packages, offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care for adolescents presenting with a range of complex and high-risk mental health difficulties.
