This service offers 24-hour support, so there are always trained staff on hand to support residents and deal with any problems that might arise. At The Mead we believe that anyone who suffers from mental illness has the opportunity to live life to the full. Each resident has a ‘key worker’ who takes a special interest in their wellbeing, supporting them in what they wish to achieve while living at the home.</p><p><strong>How you will make a difference:</strong></p><p>As a Mental Health Support/Recovery&nbsp;Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. It also supports peoples transition back to community living. The service is commissioned and regulated by Wiltshire Council.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an empathetic and motivated Associate Practitioner to join the multi award-winning Integrated Access Partnership (IAP).</p>

  <p>This is a rotational post within the IAP, with opportunities to work across all bases, including; the Ambulance Service clinical hub (SWAST, Bradley Stoke, Bristol), NHS 111 Mental Health Clinical Assessment Service (Brisdoc, Whitchurch, Bristol).</p>
<p>Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, helping to assess and support individuals experiencing mental health crisis is incredibly rewarding. You will be working alongside emergency and urgent care services and will be assessing people of all ages, whatever their mental health difficulty at the first point of contact. The majority of this work is telephone based but there will be the opportunity for face to face engagement in the community.</p>
<p>Our aim is to provide direct access to mental health services, providing a timely response, which improves the outcome and experience for service users.</p>
<p>The IAP are an innovative team who strive to provide compassionate and person centred care to those accessing our service.</p>

  <p>We are seeking keen and capable clinicians for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner role within the South Bristol CAMHS team.</p> <p>We are a service working with children and young people with complex mental health needs. We use the CAPA model of assessment and treatment, which would involve working with a variety of clinical presentations and needs, including suicidal thoughts, low mood, anxiety, OCD and emerging psychosis, often alongside neurodiversity. We also have a lot of referrals for young people with disordered eating and diagnosed eating disorders, and there are opportunities to work within this clinic if this is something you are interested in.</p> <p>We are looking for a practitioner with a core professional registration, including registered nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, art therapists and CBT therapists.</p> <p>South Bristol is an area of significant disparities in health, wealth and access. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>This is a great opportunity for those who wish to lead a forward thinking and dynamic OPU teamWe are on a mission to improve the responsiveness and proactivity of our therapy services at the RUH. We are looking for someone who is passionate about OPU and frailty.</p> <p>This role includes leading a team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists as well as contributing to the wider function of the Adult Therapies Department.</p> <p>Within the OPU team, we cover a variety of wards, including ED, MAU and OPU wards, giving the post holder a wide variety of experiences working with older, frail adults.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Demonstrable leadership experience at band 6 or equivalent is required as a minimum for this post. The successful applicant will need excellent communications skills and will need to demonstrate suitable knowledge and experience in this speciality, enabling them to work autonomously at a high level, and to provide highly specialist input within the team.</p>
<p>Supervision of band 6 and band 5 physiotherapists will form a key aspect of this role. Alongside the leadership aspect of this role, clinical expertise will be nurtured and developed with speciality training as required. We are looking for a keen clinician who will strive to improve the patient experience as well as ensure the safety and well-being of our staff by way of service improvement projects.</p>

<p>In the summer of 2019 we opened the doors to the new Therapies and RNHRD (Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases) department which is home to state of the art equipment, gym and hydrotherapy pool.
