  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Psychology service at Stockton Hall Hospital. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Consultant Psychologist, with robust experience within a forensic setting; someone who is a confident leader and is keen to develop to contribute to service development, including trauma informed care.</p><p>At Stockton Hall Hospital, just outside York, we are well-known for producing positive clinical outcomes for highly complex patients. We currently provide a medium-secure care setting in which patients access a broad range of therapeutic interventions including one-to-one and group-based psychological treatments.</p><p>Our service has produced excellent recovery results for patients, maximising their opportunity to progress to conditions of lower-security and community settings as safely and efficiently as possible.</p>

  <ul> <li>You will be a confident leader who is keen to help develop others.</li> <li>You will understand the dynamics of working in a secure hospital and be able to help offer containment and support to those who need it within a culture of compassion.</li> <li>You will provide professional leadership to the psychology team, contribute to the development of services and work to influence organisational thinking relating to the delivery of psychologically informed care.</li> <li>You will advise at a senior management level on psychological aspects of organisational functioning, including the health and well-being of our colleagues.</li> <li>You will also work clinically with a dynamic multi-professional team leading development of individual formulations and psychological assessment.   <p>To support and enhance the professional psychological care of people who use the Centralised Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) service. <strong>This is 12 months fixed term, 22.5 hours per week, Tuesday - Thursday.</strong></p>
<p>This will involve contributing to aspects of the DBT programme which includes Assessment, Group, Consult and some DBT-Informed individual work under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p> Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service. 
2 * Undertake patient-centred interviews which identifies areas where the 
person wishes to see change and or recovery and makes an accurate 
assessment of risk to self and others.
3 * Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the 
department's referral protocols, refers unsuitable clients on to the 
relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary or steps-up 
the person's treatment to high intensity psychological therapy.
4 * Provide a range of information and support for evidence based highvolume low-intensity psychological treatments. This may include guided 
self-help computerised CBT, information about pharmacological 
treatments. This work may be face to face, telephone or via other 
media. 
5 * Educate and involve family members and others in treatment, as 
necessary.
6 * Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the overall number of 
client contacts offered, and clinical sessions conducted per week in

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a developmental Band 7-8a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist or experienced 8a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist developmental to join an established team of Clinical and Forensic Psychologists in the Secure Services at Brooklands Hospital. This is a full-time position primarily based within the autism low secure service, with some hours in the LD secure services.</p> <p>The secure service ethos is to help and support people who present considerable risk to others (as well as themselves) to return to a less restrictive environment and/or the community as soon as possible.</p> <p>The contribution of psychological services is highly valued within the teams and service management and is fully integrated within collaborative multi-disciplinary teams. Positive Behavioural Support is a key component of our treatment approach and philosophy and the successful candidate will work closely with others on developing new and existing service projects, develop new and existing group programmes and provide support in training others. There is lots of personal and service development opportunity within this role.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will ideally have post qualification experience of working with forensic populations and/or experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism who present considerable risk to others. You will use your psychological skills and experience to provide assessments, individual and group therapies, team formulations, and reflective practice.</p> <p>You may also supervise others (qualified psychologists and non-psychologists) and be involved in training others, such as ward staff and multidisciplinary colleagues. Training others and contributing to and leading on service development projects and undertaking audit and research is an important part of this role.</p> <p>The psychology department at Brooklands is a well-established and supportive service and the successful applicant will receive support to further develop their skills and knowledge, through good quality supervision and training opportunities. The teamwork from a number of different therapeutic approaches including CBT, CAT, CFT, EMDR and Schema Therapy. We provide a number of well-established and structured offence group programmes as part of the service user's comprehensive treatment pathway.</p>

  <p><strong>We are looking for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to work alongside an integrated mental health team based at HMP Full Sutton.</strong></p><p>Rethink Mental Illness work alongside Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) and Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to deliver an integrated stepped care mental health service within HMP Full Sutton.</p>

<p>As PC CEN Psychologist, you will lead the locality team as the service expands, overseeing therapists and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs) to deliver safe, evidence-based interventions for clients with complex emotional needs and complex PTSD.
