CYP Clinical Psychologist - Integrated Eating Disorder Service

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Low-Intensity Team across Dorset.</p> <p>Dorset Steps 2 Wellbeing is a dynamic, and progressive service with a friendly and supportive team. You will work within NHS Talking Therapies, providing psychological interventions to people with mild to moderate common mental health problems, such as anxiety disorders and depression.</p> <p>As a psychological wellbeing practitioner, you will provide treatment to help support people by:</p> <p>Conducting patient interviews</p> <p>Carry out safety assessments,</p> <p>Provide phone, online, and face-to-face Guided Self Help sessions</p> <p>Liaise with other agencies, and signpost patients to services, such as housing and employment.</p> <p><strong>You must have either a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity CBT with IAPT PWP status or an MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) qualification to apply for this post.</strong></p> <p><strong>This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.</strong></p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post-holder will work within the NHS Talking therapy service providing high-volume, low-intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions service to patients with mild to moderate anxietyand depression.</p> <ul>  <li>Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service.</li>  <li>Assess and supports people with a common mental health problem in the self management of their recovery.</li>  <li>Provide a range of information and support for evidence based high volume low - intensity psychological treatments. This will included Guided Self Help, Computerised CBT, information about pharmacological treatments and Courses. This work maybe face to face, telephone or via other media.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

  <p>Due to additional investment an exciting opportunity has arisen for a flexible and enthusiastic clinical psychologist committed to working with people with severe and enduring mental health needs to join our service. You will work closely with the North Somerset Recovery Team as part of the Psychological Therapies Service.</p> <p>North Somerset PTS services work across all community, acute and inpatient services within North Somerset. The service is staffed by a multidisciplinary team comprising of clinical psychologists, arts psychotherapists, family therapists CBT therapists, psychotherapists and CAPs and works closely with other services in the Locality.</p> <p>We are a friendly and supportive team, who are highly valued within local services. Within PTS, psychologists are professionally managed with good supervision and peer support arrangements. There is good access to CPD and the Department has strong links with local training courses.</p> <p>Weston-super-Mare and Clevedon are thriving seaside towns within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Taunton, with convenient access to the M5 motorway.   <p><strong>Are you a Clinical Psychologist, with experience working in Eating Disorders, who is seeking a new challenge?</strong></p> <p>We are delighted to be recruiting to a part time Clinical Psychologist role within the Wiltshire Community Eating Disorder team (WCEDS).</p> <p>WCEDS are a multidisciplinary team, which includes Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Dieticians, Family Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Support Workers and Administrators.</p> <p>We work with adults (over 18) and with young people who are approaching their 18th birthday and likely to require support or treatment into adulthood.</p> <p>We offer a range of specialist psychological interventions including CBT-E, CBT-T, SSCM and MANTRA which are delivered on an individual level. We also have a full specialist group programme which is developed from evidence-based interventions.</p> <p>Our specialist eating disorders team is focused on continuous quality improvement and innovation. We pride ourselves on working flexibly and collaboratively, focusing on addressing individual patients' needs.</p> <p>The successful candidates will join our team providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations and therapy services to users with Eating Disorders that have been referred to the Team.</p> <p>They will play a key role within the multi-disciplinary team and support the delivery of the Group Programme as well as provide advice, consultation and supervision to other team members.</p>

The RH will provide those in crisis with a safe, secure and welcoming environment to support the de-escalation of crisis. The House will be open to new and existing BSMHFT service users and will provide a homely environment, allowing people to retain independence, whilst receiving person centred and appropriate care.</p> <p>The service which is part of the Trust's Urgent Care pathway is a partnership with Birmingham Mind and builds on the range of strong collaborations we have with the voluntary sector.</p> <p>The RH will serve as a base for community integration, allowing service users to connect with local communities and provision, as well as their family/carers.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Leicestershire Adult Eating Disorder Service.</p><p>The team is well established and have been providing high quality care for the residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for over 30 years.</p><p>The team assess and provide individual care plans for recovery through evidence-based interventions and strong therapeutic relationships to patients with a variety of eating disorders, on one to one basis and in group settings.</p><p>Clinical associate psychologists are a key part of our team and the successful candidate will join our current psychology team Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Associate Psychologist and Psychology Assistants.</p><p>The service team also consists of nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, administrators, dietitians, research and evaluation associates. Teamwork and collaboration is highly valued in the service and encouraged from all.</p><p>Experience of working with people with an eating disorder will be a particular strength for the right candidate. However, we are able to offer opportunities for with those with limited experience in limited experience in a developmental role.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will work with people who use our services to develop a shared understanding of their eating disorder, how they cope and the impact this has on their mental, physical health and well-being and those around them (psychological assessment and formulation).</p><p>Under supervision of qualified clinical psychologists they will deliver psychological interventions such as CBT guided self-help, CBT and other appropriate therapy models. The post holder will manage their own caseload.</p><p>A good understanding of some of the physical and psychological risks experienced by our patients will be helpful and you will be supported with this alongside training and development opportunities relevant to your role and equipping you with specialist skills.</p><p>You will also be able to take part in our weekly CPD programme, where we have an extensive range of internal and external speakers.

We have a strong culture of research and a continuous drive for improving quality, and there is plentiful opportunity to contribute to our ongoing programme.</p><p><strong>Please note that a full UK Driving Licence and access to a car during working hours is required for this role.
