We have access to Bespoke CPD training and offer regular supervision to our staff to ensure you are valued and supported in your career development.</p>
<p><strong>Our NHS Talking Therapies teams include a Clinical lead, Operational manager, Psychological Therapists, Senior Psychological Wellbeing practitioner and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. We also train significant numbers of trainee therapists. Recently we have appointed a Lead PWP and a number of Assistant Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to complement our teams allowing identified career pathways for PWP's.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We offer flexible working and encourage a blend of home and base working for our PWP's</strong></p>
<p><strong>We can offer contracts on either our Trust Bank or contracted hours from 22.5 hours a week up to 37.5 hours.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service.</li>
<li>Assess and supports people with a common mental health problem in the self-management of their recovery.</li>
<li>Deliver LI treatments, primarily on the telephone and in groups, with some face to face work.</li>
<li>Undertakes patient - centred interviews which identifies areas where the person wishes to see change and or recovery and makes an accurate assessment of risk to self and others.</li>
<li>Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department's referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary or steps-ups the person's treatment to high intensity.</li>
<li>Provide a range of information and support for evidence based high volume low - intensity psychological treatments. This may include guided self - help computerised CBT, information about pharmacological treatments. This work may be on the telephone, via other media or face to face.</li>
<li>Educate and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary.</li>
<li>Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.</li>
<li>Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients in treatment, where appropriate.</li>
<li>Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service</li>

  <p>The post could be offered as a 30 hours per week or Job share depending on applicants and we may be able to offer full time hours for the right candidate.</p> <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic highly skilled and experienced practitioner psychologist to join our mental health services focusing on working with adults with psychosis. This is an exciting time to be joining the Trust as we are looking at improving our services for people experiencing psychosis and bipolar disorder and expanding the psychological provision in our teams.</p> <p>Working across a number of community teams you will provide expertise in both direct clinical work and leadership/supervision of teams in psychological approaches to care.</p> <p>This is a key clinical leadership role, working within teams and responsible for continuing to drive and embed the significant work already undertaken to develop services for people with psychosis across Gloucestershire.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing highly-specialist advice and consultancy to staff, teams, and patients with direct responsibility for the provision of psychological services within the teams, including supervision of assistants and trainees. They will also have a key role to play in service development and quality improvement across care pathways.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role covers teams based in Gloucester, Cheltenham and across the county. All reasonable flexible working requests will be considered, but the post holder will be expected to work across sites in line with service need.</p> <p>Our specialist mental health services work with adults with severe mental health problems. In order to facilitate this, we encourage part-time applications from staff already working in other NHS or related services. We can also work with successful candidates applying for full-time roles to agree a job plan that includes a mix of gender service activity and activity in another clinical area.<br><br> The service operates Monday-Friday. Full or part-time (minimum 3 days per week) considered.<br><br> Main duties of the job Successful candidate will be based at Addenbrooke's and will work with managers and clinical leads, to ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality psychological service within the Department of Paediatrics.<br><br> They will work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the Department of Paediatrics.<br><br> They will ensure that systems are in place and working effectively for the clinical supervision and support of all psychological therapists within the CYP Gender Service. (e.g. HCPC)</li> <li>• Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by relevant professional body.</li> <li>• Eligible for BPS Chartered Status.
