A key advantage of working in secondary care is the chance to work alongside and learn from highly specialist nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists (with trainings in systemic, DBT, creative, analytic and CBT). Within Sussex CAMHS we have a strong psychology and CBT team. You will be well-supported with training and CPD, and opportunities for career development.</p> <p>We would expect the therapist to be conversant with IAPT principles, and practiced in using ROMS and disorder specific outcome measures as part of evaluation and of their work, as well as part of ongoing team audit.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a member of the CAMHS team, you would participate in the core multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention work of the team, and engage in multi-agency liaison work as necessary. You would also be required to participate in the supervision, training and the overall governance requirements of SPFT CAMHS.</p> <p>We operate a pathways model and you would hold some clinical lead responsibilities within these, including decision-making around treatment options, and supervision of low intensity CBT practitioners and trainees. You would also play a lead role in our group interventions.</p> <p>You'd part of a very busy but lively and welcoming CAMHS team, which offers a wide range of individual, group and systemic interventions, and is involved in a number of innovative evaluation and research projects and service developments. <li><strong>Caseload Management</strong>: Hold a protected psychotherapy caseload, offering assessments and a range of interventions including individual psychotherapy, short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy (STPP), State of Mind Assessments, and parent-child interventions.</li>
<li><strong>Assessment &amp; Treatment</strong>: Conduct psychoanalytic assessments for complex referrals and implement treatment plans based on psychodynamic principles.</li>
<li><strong>Therapeutic Delivery</strong>: Deliver highly specialist psychotherapy to children and adolescents, often in emotionally charged or complex family situations.</li>
<li><strong>Multidisciplinary Collaboration</strong>: Contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions and provide consultation to colleagues.</li>
<li><strong>Risk Management</strong>: Undertake risk assessments and advise others on risk-related issues.</li>

  <p>Would you like to work in a friendly and supportive Maternal Mental Health Service delivering a service across North Yorkshire and York to women experiencing maternal reproductive trauma and loss?</p>
<p>This is a new service and you will be working alongside other therapists delivering highly skilled psychological interventions at this difficult time in women's/families lives. We are looking to recruit a part time 30 hours per week Family Therapist to lead with Systemic interventions.</p>
